Ivy League Scuba
Ivy League Scuba is a scuba training school and dive center in Jupiter, Florida. Ivy League was founded by Austrian Christian Siegl. Christian was so curious as a young man by the unknown of the sea, he took up the then little known sport of diving in 1974. Over the years Mr. Siegl has become a successful entrepreneur and airline pilot. He is in charge of well over 300 employees at his Austrian business, so Mr. Siegl is more than capable of handling small groups.
Robbie's Tarpon Feeding
There is much more to Robbie's of Islamorada than just the tarpon feeding off the dock but for affordability and the fun factor this wins out as one of the top things to do with the kids in the Keys. For about $4 you can gain access to the dock ($1) and get a bucket of bait fish ($3) to feed the tarpon. Your kids will be delighted and amazed by these creatures and get a real kick out of feeding them.
Delray Beach Watersports
Located on the actual sands of Delray Beach just a 1/2 mile south of Atlantic Ave and A1A is Delray Beach Watersports. Rent or buy your favorite water toys or try out something new! DB Watersports also offers lessons for all ages and a popular Surf Camp for kids. The location is ideal with plenty of metered parking, showers, restrooms and water fountains within a short walking distance. There is plenty to do to fill your day at the nearby downtown area teeming with restaurants, shops and treats for the kids.
Kayak Kings of Key West
Join the Kayak Kings in Key West for a paddle through the serene beauty that surrounds the keys. The Kayak Kings offer both equipment/kayak rentals as well as guided tours through multiple habitats. The local kayaking trails are great for those who are new to kayaking as well as those who are experienced. Take an adventure on their Mangrove Mazes Tour that weaves through canopies of these aquatic trees. Observe the wildlife that call these trees their home including shrimp, turtles, crabs and majestic birds.
Sundiver Snorkeling Tours
Sundiver Snorkeling Tours has been providing an expert snorkel experience within the John Pennekamp State Park, or National Marine Sanctuary, since 1972. Their Coast Guard certified staff are experienced with families, kids and first time snorkelers. They visit one of dozens of shallow reef sites each time they go out. You can snorkel several times with them and experience different areas each time. The price of the tour includes enrtrance fees, ice cold water and transportation.
Fury Water Adventures
Fury Water Adventures has been operating in Key West for almost three decades. Fury offers water adventures for the entire family. Whether you choose to stay dry and take a glass bottom boat tour or want to get wet with snorkelling or zipping along in a jetski, Fury has something for everyone. Take in the views of the town of Key West as your soar high above in a parasail. You may even be able to spot a pod of dolphins playing from above. Tours leave hourly for parasailing from 9-6pm.
Snuba Key West
If you have ever wanted to see all of the under-water splendor that is Key West but have not been comfortable with the idea of snorkelling or scuba diving, then SNUBA may be an option for you. There is no experience necessary nor dive certification required. All equipment and instruction is provided by Snuba Key West.
Adventure Sports Miami
Adventure Sports Miami operates tours and equipment rentals within local Miami-Dade county parks and other natural areas within the county. ASM is headquartered out of Coconut Grove and operates a daily concession of equipment rentals and tours out of Matheson Hammock Park. Single and Double kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards can be rented by the hour or for the half day.
