Zoo Miami's Earth Day celebration Party for the Planet will be held Saturday & Sunday April 16 & 17 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Tropical Flowering Tree Society will be hosting the world's largest flowering tree annual plant show and sale.  There will also be fun “green” activities and entertainment for the entire family as well as animal enrichment with recycled items and/or natural materials like newspapers, cardboard tubes, bamboo, old tires, fire hoses, and more.   

Do your part to keep beautiful BISCAYNE BAY clean at this annual Miami Dade event.  Baynanza runs for several weeks across the county and includes family-friendly activities that involve workshops, presentations, special exhibits, nature kies & tours as well as the big clean up day on April 16th.  In the past, over 40 TONS of trash and recyclable materials were collected at Baynanza with over 6000 volunteers participating.  What better way to celebrate Earth Day than giving back to our local environment with your time and care!?

Looking to make Palm Beach County a cleaner, greener, more livable place? Local non-profits, Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful, Inc., Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, Sandoway Discovery Center and Delray Beach Parks and Recreation encourage you to get involved in the 2017 Great American Cleanup, a national campaign organized by nonprofit Keep America Beautiful, Inc. The local cleanup will take place along Delray Municipal Beach on Saturday, April 15.

Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue, Inc. is announcing a two-part event: the first annual “Run-Walk Four Paws 5k” and The Grife Law Firm’s “Doggone Easter Eggstravaganza” on March 

22, 2015 at Bryant Park in downtown Lake Worth. People and pets are invited to attend the brand-new fundraising event, which will include live music, food, vendors, and shopping all day.

The best dressed animals in Delray strut their stuff at 10am in a parade up NE 1st Avenue and west on Atlantic Avenue to the front lawn of the Cornell Museum for judging and prizes.

Lake Worth will be hosting their Annual St. Patrick's Day Charity Parade to benefit a non-profit group that provides custom wheelchairs to needy children in our South Florida community, Wheels for Kids.  This family-friendly celebration of Irish heritage will include the parade itself followed by live music, great food and a kids carnival!  The parade will take place down Lake Avenue and the activities will continue at the corner of S. K Street and Lake Avenue.

Walk with us all night to celebrate cancer survivors everywhere, to remember those who we lost to cancer, and join in the fight to strengthen local cancer programs and research in the Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, and North Lauderdale areas on May 20th and 21st from 6PM to 6AM. Last year we raised over $60,000, help us beat that this year.
