Join the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale for the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Kids Love & Family Expo.  This will be a Celebrity-Filled Extravaganza where family fun comes first!  Kids will be entertained with tons of fun and interactive activities, while parents can discover the latest and greatest in products and entertainment from 75 vendors & sponsors!

C3: Coastal Cleanup and Concert is a local community event celebrating the conservation of coastal habitats in Jupiter, Palm Beach county. The event will feature a vendor village: food trucks, local merchandise and apparel, beach cleanup groups and other non-profits.  A live concert will be held from 6 p.m.-8:00 p.m. featuring a local crowd favorite Viva Classic Rock!  Lawn chairs, blankets, and pets on leashes are welcome. Admission is free.

Gift of Life is a bone marrow foundation that helps save lives by advocating for the donation of life-giving bone marrow.   The Strikes for Life Tournament will be held at Strikes bowling alley in Boca Raton.  Cash prizes, ranging from $60-$1000,  will be awarded to those coming in 1st-5th place!  There will be 3 squads taking place at 10, 12 and 2 during the day.  Registration begins at 9am.  Sign up online for a $60 donation/fee.

AVDA's 21st Annual Race for Hope is organized by Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Inc. (AVDA) during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. All proceeds will support AVDA's programs and services to survivors of domestic abuse and their children.

The Downtown Delray Beach culinary adventure continues with Tastemakers Delray Beach! Experience 18 of Downtown’s restaurants for just $30 on Wednesday, August 5th and Thursday, August 6th from 5:30pm - 9:30pm. Each participating restaurant has designed a special culinary creation reflective of its chef's specialty and paired it with a unique cocktail, wine or beer. Passport holders will stroll from restaurant to restaurant, partaking in the savory delights each establishment provides.

The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale is happy to announce the fourth annual New River Raft Race at Esplanade Park on the New River Saturday June 13th, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The race will start and finish on the river in front of Esplanade Park which is located across from the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Museum of Discovery and Science. The race theme is “Pirates of the River”.  The race is more of a parade than a speed event as all rafts must be human powered only.

Mark your calendars for 5K Muttsquerade!  Dress yourself and mutt in a costume to be entered to win a prize!  All this fun benefits the Humane Society.

16th annual Philippine Summer Festival, hosted by the Philippine American Society (PAS) of Palm Beach County, on Saturday, June 6, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festival will be held indoors at the South Florida Fairgrounds, Gate 8, at 9067 Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Please come out to the HUGS for HOPE 5k Saturday, May 7th at Markham Park in Broward county. This event will support Hope Clubs in local schools. HOPE stands for Helping to Overcome Problems Effectively. The run will be hosted by the Florida Initiative for Suicide Prevention, Inc.
