Florida Earth Festival
Florida Earth Festival 2016 is a celebration of the people, policies, products, and services that are moving our community toward sustainability.
Outdoors, there will be Food, Fun, and Entertainment, Alternative Fuel Vehicles, and an Eco-Park for Green Vendors, featuring primarily "green" retail, service and display vendors. Vendors are asked to offer items that are in line with the "Reuse, recycle, upcycle" or "Green" way of living.

Annual Pines Day
A full day of FREE family fun celebrating the City of Pembroke Pines 57th Birthday at City Center 10600 Pines Boulevard. Day Long entertainment includes free children’s rides, Royal Court Pageant Contests for Little Miss Sweetheart Pageant (3-5), Young Jr Miss (6-8), Junior Miss (9-12) and Miss (13-16), Kids Konnection and Business Expo, Children’s Stage Performances, Stroller Parade, Ten Foot Cake Cutting Ceremony, Three Mainstage Performances, Jazz Concert,
and Food Truck Invasion. No pets please.

PAMM Art Free Saturday
The Perez Art Museum of Miami (PAMM) offers FREE admission on the 2nd Saturday of every month. Families can come and enjoy the exhibits as well as occaisional live performances. Guided tours are available and after enjoying the exhibits, you can partake in various Art making activities. The program is particularly attuned to Miami’s diverse populations with a multi-lingual teaching artist staff.

PAMM Art Storytime
PAMM Art Storytime occurs every fourth Saturday at from 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM for 3-5 year-olds (and their caregivers). This recurrent event not only entertains the children but also builds on foundations of literacy. The event starts with an in-gallery story reading followed by a related art activity at PAMM’s Knight Education Center. Space is limited to 12 children. Pre-registration required. Children under age 6 have free admission to the museum. Please contact them for special program pricing.

Miami International Horse & Cattle Show
Tropical Park in Miami-Dade will be the venue for this huge annual farm event. This is a wholesome family-friendly event with entertainment, rides, and food trucks for all to enjoy. Premium show cattle from all over the U.S. will be here to compete followed by an international live auction. Over 50,000 people come to this event annually. Whether you are a farm family or just a family with littles ones who LOVE animals, this is a can't miss event.

Lake Worth Earth Day
Join the City of Lake Worth and the Florida District Kiwanis Club in celebrating Earth Day this year. This event will take place at the Lake Worth Cultural Plaza downtown on April 25th. Though the event officially starts at noon, the schedule indicates that there will be some events going on as early as 10am.

Annual Miami Riverday
The Miami River Commission presents the free 20th Annual Miami Riverday features free boat tours, historic re-enactments, environmental education, live music, children activities, and much more. All activities are FREE at this great event. Cheer on the kayak and paddleboard races or take a FREE riverboat ride! Live entertainment includes: Elastic Bond & Spam All-Stars. Historic tours of the Lummus Historic District will take place as well as historic Miami reenactments.

Party for the Planet at the Palm Beach Zoo
This year the Palm Beach Zoo will celebrate Earth Day by focusing on the "One Thing" you can do EVERYDAY that can help the planet. That one thing is...reduce the use of plastic shopping bags! We will showcase some of the steps guests can take that will truly make a difference for animals across the globe.
Take the #EarthDay pledge to use eco-friendly bags by signing a banner at Palm Beach Zoo on April 22. Plus, bring any grocery store plastic shopping bags you have to stuff a lifesize Florida Panther wire-frame sculpture.

Party for the Planet
Zoo Miami's Earth Day celebration Party for the Planet will be held Saturday & Sunday April 16 & 17 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Tropical Flowering Tree Society will be hosting the world's largest flowering tree annual plant show and sale. There will also be fun “green” activities and entertainment for the entire family as well as animal enrichment with recycled items and/or natural materials like newspapers, cardboard tubes, bamboo, old tires, fire hoses, and more.

Deerfield 4th of July
What better way to celebrate the 4th of July in Florida than at a beachfront celebration. Let the kids frolic in the sand, enjoy a BBQ or eat at a seaside restaurant, and breathe in the salty air. This JULY 4th join the city of Deerfield Beach at their Independence Day celebration. The event will take place at the main beach parking lot. Arts & crafts, a Kid's Zone, live entertainment and yummy foods will keep you and your family entertained from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The Grand Fireworks display will take place at 9pm.
