Enjoy extended hours of exploration at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium on the last Friday night of each month from 6-9 PM.

Each Night at the Museum is a different theme, which includes various interactive science crafts, activities, entertainment, exhibits, planetarium shows and a chance to view the night sky in Palm Beach County’s only public observatory!

Comics Fest Coral Springs - Coral Springs Museum of Art’s first comic/anime convention. Special guests artists, artist alley, comic/collectible vendors, cosplay, panels, gaming room/tournament, photo op areas, quick draw contest, Pop & Comic Art Exhibition and more. 

Since its opening in early 1997, the Coral Springs Museum of Art has focused on displaying innovative and ethnically diverse Florida artists and providing eclectic and challenging classes for both children and adults.

 In an effort to bring attention to local parks and to encourage families to play outdoors together, the Play Outdoors…Unplugged series has been planned by the City of Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department. The average American kid practically lives plugged in. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of opportunities for families to engage in both structured and unstructured play.  And the second Saturday of May is the time for play in Boynton Beach.

Bedner's Weekend Fun

Bring the family out to Bedner's farmer run attraction for a weekend of fun!  Hay rides, $4 per person (under 2 free), are offered as well as delicious BBQ by Porky & Beth.  Other food choices include Cheri's Top NY Dogs, Bob's Lemonade & Pretzels, roasted corn, and Homemade ice cream.  Kids can enjoy (from 10-3) pony rides and a petting zoo!  Craft vendors will be there to sell their local and unique items and the U-pick usually has various produce to pick.

Cooper City's Birthday Celebration

It's Cooper City's 57th BIRTHDAY and they'd like to celebrate the founding of their city. Join them for a full day of festivities at 2 locations: the Community Center & Brian Piccolo Park.  Bring a blanket for the evening concert and fireworks.

Memorial Day Kidzfest

Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with KidzFest at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, presented by Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Broward Outpatient Centers, in conjunction with the opening of our new exhibit, Lost World of Dinosaurs.

At Lost World of Dinosaurs you’ll discover 27 life-size replicas, nestled among the jungle settings of Flamingo Gardens. Explore modern day plant and animal descendants. Unearth bones in the Dino Dig, touch real fossils, and see a real fossilized dinosaur egg.

Enjoy a family-friendly evening out on the town in Lake Worth at the Cultural Plaza downtown.  There will be live music for the family to boogie to and a wine & beer garden to help the parents unwind after a long week at work.  Have dinner together at one of the restaurants nearby or from one of the many food trucks on the seen.  Take a stroll through the arts displays and galleries nearby or shop for specialty items.  Check out the city's Flyer for the event!
