Fireworks Viewing at Vista View Park
Fireworks Viewing at Vista View Park on Independence Day allows viewers to enjoy the area's various firework celebrations from the top of the hill at the park. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to get a panoramic view of firework displays from across Broward County. Depending on weather conditions firework viewers may be able to see the firework displays from Davie, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Sunrise, and possibly Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. Most of these shows are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Event rules state that no fireworks or sparklers will be permitted in the park and no horses or trailers permitted on top of the hill. Viewers are encouraged to bring beach chairs, blankets, food and beverages. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. The playgrounds and shelters will be closed. The entry fee is good for all day at the park but receipts will be needed.
Admission is charged to enter regional parks on weekends and holidays only.
$1.50 per person (ages 6 and up)
$8 maximum charge per car or van (six to nine occupants)
$20 maximum charge per commercial vehicle/school bus (10 or more occupants).
