Oyer Park Clubhouse

Body

This park is just south of the city of Boynton Beach's Intracoastal Park right off Federal Highway. It was recently renamed and was known as the Boat Club Park.  Oyer Park is open to boaters and fishermen 24 hours per day.  Parking Fees: A trailer/launching fee is required on weekends and city designated holidays is $10 each day, regardless of residency. Decal Fees: The general public can purchase a decal per trailer for $50 per year per decal. Decals are valid Oct. 1 – Sept. 30 (per Code of Ordinances Sec. 16-61). Decals can be purchased at City Hall or the Clubhouse at Intracoastal Park. Overnight boat docking is prohibited (per Code of Ordinances Sec. 16-59). It is unlawful for any person to camp overnight on the ground of Boat Club Park or to dock their boat on the shoreline or ramp area overnight or on a permanent docking basis. Manatees have been known to frequent the area. Boaters should use extra care when launching watercraft and when shifting out of neutral. Call 1-888-404-3922, or *FMP on your cell phone, or use VHF Channel 16 to report an injured manatee. Amenities include BBQ grills, benches, boat ramp/docks, drinking fountain, fishing pier, meeting space, monofilament recycling bins, pavilions, picnic tables, playground, restrooms, and Intracoastal Waterway access.  The Clubhouse has an open floor plan with a small kitchen area (no cooking equipment) and restrooms.  A large pavilion is adjacent on the east side of the building.  Programming is available through the city of Boynton Beach, details found in their Funfare Magazine.
