Pine Island Ridge Park is the highest natural elevation at 29 feet above sea level and is an archealogical site characterized by equestrian and nature trails. This former dairy farm is characterized by oak trees and walking trails.

This is a lovely, 30 acre park that encompasses all the natural beauty and wildlife of South Florida. This park is a three habitat park that has natural pinelands, a tropical hardwood hammock and drained Everglades slough.
Robert King High Park and Carlos Arboleya Campground
The Robert King High Park and Carlos Arboleya Campground in Miami, Florida dates from the early 70's and was reopened in 2011 after extensive remodeling. The improved park features a new building for classes and meetings plus the addition of a sanded volleyball court.
K-Land Park

Seminole Wayside Park

The park is enclosed by a low rock wall all the way around it's 27.7 acres of beauty. The park contains a variety of plant life including some endangered species. Two of these species are federally endangered, while the other twenty-four are endangered inside the state. From sunrise to sunset, this park is open to any visitors to come and enjoy.
Homestead Bayfront Park
The Homestead Bayfront Park is a beautiful beach park and marina in Miami-Dade County. The marina is located at Convoy Point next to the Biscayne National Park Headquarters, and can be accessed via boat. Families like to come here to enjoy the beautiful coral reefs, the natural atoll pool, and the wildlife of the Florida Keys Marine Sanctuary and the Biscayne National Park. You can easily launch your boats or kayaks from the marina boat docks.
Larry & Penny Thompson Park
The Larry & Penny Thompson Park is a first class campground in Miami-Dade County. This beautiful campground is right next door to the Zoo Miami. The park is named after the late Thompsons who were avid campers and civic leaders in in South Florida. This campground is one of the last portions of leftover wilderness in Miami! The University of Miami used to own this land and there are remnants left of their old fruit groves.
