Boca Raton Holiday Tree Lighting

Come kick-off the Holiday season with our Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony! The event will include free carnival rides; an artificial ice rink, Bouncy, the World’s Largest Snowman, a bounce house standing 30 feet tall; Santa’s Circus variety show; Carolers; stilt walkers, aerial performances, letters to Santa station, photos with Santa ($5 each); carnival food for purchase, and more!

Veteran's Day Commemorative Ceremony

Tribute to veterans featuring local veterans groups and city officials.  The Fort Lauderdale Highlanders will perform as well as the Boca Raton Community High School band.   The Boca Raton HS NJROTC will execute several drills in honor of our US Veterans.  The city of Boca Raton Police and Fire Honor Guards will also be there to pay respects.  Children in Palm Beach county have no school on this day.  Bring them to this special event to show appreciation for those who fought for American freedoms!

Shriek Week at Sugar Sand Park

Shriek Week is a family friendly Halloween celebration in Boca Raton at the Sugar Sand Park.  Wear your costumes and come to be spooked.  Past events have included the Crooked Creek Haunted Ghost Town Tours which is strongly recommended for children 7-12 years old. Creepy creatures from outer space land in the sleepy western town of Crooked Creek. Friendly foreign invaders and strange slimy aliens run experiments, learn local living, and transport visitors into another dimension.  Family friendly round-up activities available on-site.

Spookyville at Yesteryear Village

For children 12 and under, Spookyville in Yesteryear Village is a safe place to trick or treat! The event is loaded with fun and treats in a safe, family-friendly environment. Take the little goblins on a trek around a sweet trick or treat trail, games and crafts, end then exit to a glittering carnival of rides, games, food and attractions. Kids can participate in costume contests and fun games. From face painting and pass the pumpkin to mummy wraps, a cake walk and pumpkin bowling, there's a family activity for everyone.

Annual Octoberfest

WILLKOMMEN to the American German Club in Lantana for the ever popular Oktoberfest.  This family fun festival is held on the 2nd and 3rd weekend of October.  This local club has been operating since the late 1960s in this community and has hosted this wonderful event for over 40 years.  The ten acre property features two large covered outdoor areas and a club house.

Boo at the Zoo

Calling all ghosts & ghouls!  Boo at the Zoo was founded over 16 years ago to provide the community with a safe place to "trick or treat" and to help make Halloween a truly unique experience for children of all ages. Visitors are encouraged to wear costumes as they gather treats throughout the zoo's 23 acres of lush tropical habitats.
