2017 will bring a much more low key event to Coral Gables.  There is no plan for a helicopter egg drop this year.  This year there will be TRADITIONAL egg hunt events at the same 5 locations as 2016.  Egg hunts at War Memorial Youth Center. Special 0-3 years old hunt at 10:30 a.m.

The Mall of the Americas in Miami will be having their annual Easter Celebration on March 26th, 2016.   Families can meet the Easter Bunny,  enjoy festive music from MIX 98.3, partake in a bunny petting area and a raffle prize drawing where one lucky winner will receive a grand prize vacation for two to Key West! (No purchase necessary to enter. Must be present during the drawing to win.).  Arts & crafts as well as face painting will be available free of charge.

The 40th Annual International Orchid and Bromeliad Show at Flamingo Gardens in Davie will host over 30 vendors with rare and exotic orchids and bromeliads on display and for sale along with an American Orchid Society judged orchid show hosted by the Flamingo Gardens Orchid Society. Find orchid supplies, enjoy lectures and demonstrations from orchid and bromeliad experts plus live performances by Treebo, food and more.

The Bolt Band will start the day at Franklin Academy in Boynton Beach!  Come to the Spring Festival and Safety Day for this fun community event.  Thinking about attending this K-8 charter in Boynton?  What better way to get to know the PTA and families at the school.  Come and enjoy all of the fun!

Children ages 12 & under are invited to take part in the Deerfield Beach Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt on April 14th.  Get your kids warmed up for the Easter weekend by doing this early egg hunt with them.  Over 8,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes will be scattered throughout the Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex. Prizes will be given for "SPECIAL EGGS" in each of the following categories: Ages 3 & under, ages 4 - 6, and ages 7 -12.

Oakland Park 

March 26, 9:45 AM - 12:00 PM @ Royal Palm Pavilion South

This free family event hosted by Oakland Park Firefighters' Benevolent Association and Oakland Park Kiwanis begins at approximately 9:45 AM Saturday, March 26. The Easter Bunny will arrive by fire engine to kick off the Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 AM. The city of Tamarac is hosting Springfest 2017 at the Tamarac Sports Complex on April 8th from 10-noon.  This free event features bounce houses, games, and an egg hunt for ages 10 & under. Egg hunt starts promptly at 10:00 am!

On Saturday, April 8th, children ages eight and under are invited to the City of Margate’s Springtime Egg Hunt. The festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road.

Nearly 9,000 brightly colored plastic eggs - each containing a treat will be scattered on three baseball fields. Some eggs will also contain a ticket redeemable for a special prize. Peter Rabbit will make a special guest appearance for family photographs.  Please remember to bring your baskets and a camera.
