Earth Day at the Miami Seaquarium

Join the Miami Seaquarium for four fun and educational events for Earth Day (April 22). Each event has a focus that will engage the public and teach about some environmental issues that are surrounding their local ecosystems. This 4 day event targets people of all ages and encourages them to be active and aware members of the community.

Seminole Discovery Days

Join the  Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum for a special Earth Day “Water Warriors” celebration like no othe on April 22nd! Explore how water is life in the Seminole story with environmental activist, artist and videographer Samuel Tommie and with special "family fun" activities throughout the day. Discover the ins & outs of canoes, create water-inspired crafts, and enjoy traditional food sampling along with a classic BBQ!

Activities and refreshments included in Museum admission.

Weston World Fest

The second annual Weston World Fest will celebrate the cultural diversity in our community with an experience of unique foods and music from around the globe. 

The Weston World Fest brings authentic international foods, country booths with activities for kids, and onstage performances.

Chinese Lantern Festival

The Chinese Lantern Festival at the Boca Raton Sunset Cove Amphitheater brings brightly lit displays to Palm Beach County for all to enjoy.  This year’s theme is “The Wild”. Let the wonders of illuminating animals guide you as you travel through the lantern festival. As you travel through each location the animals change transporting guests to unique new experiences from throughout the world.

Annual Broward Water Matters Day

On Saturday, March 11, come celebrate at the 15th Annual Broward Water Matters Day event "Community. Climate. Connected!" from 9 AM to 3 PM at Tree Tops Park in Davie.   Water Matters Day is Broward County's signature water conservation event where residents can learn about our local and regional water resources, how water is managed, and how Broward's water managers are planning to meet our future water needs.

Egyptian Weekend

The Museum of Discovery & Science in Fort Lauderdale hosts the travelling exhibit "Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science" this Spring and will offer special weekends with additional Egypt-themed programming.  This travelling exhibit will be available from  Saturday, February 4, 2017 through Thursday, April 30, 2017 where families can unearth Ancient Egypt with hands-on experiences and real Egyptian artifacts.

IKEA Design Nation

Join IKEA at the Museum of Discovery & Science on select dates for  their IKEA Design Nation activities described below.  The activities will be on February 18 – 20, 2017 and April 22 & 23, 2017 from Noon to 4 p.m.

The Science Explorium at Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton will be hosting the travelling exhibit, Human Plus.  Human Plus offers visitors a chance to explore and create a range of low- and high-tech tools that extend the abilities of the human body!

International Kinetic Art Exhibit and Symposium

The International Kinetic Art Exhibit and Symposium returns to Boynton Beach February 2-3rd, 2019. This free, one-of-a-kind visual art event includes more than 75 indoor and outdoor kinetic art exhibits, interactive installations, community projects, meet-and-greets with kinetic artists, and a lecture series along the City's Avenue of the Arts (East Ocean Ave from Seacrest Blvd. to Federal Highway).

Annual Outdoor Juried Art Festival

The Boca Raton Museum of Art’s annual outdoor juried Art Festival has been named one of the nation’s Top 100. It features 200 of the nation’s best artisans who display and sell high-quality ceramics, wood, fiber, glass, drawing, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, and sculpture. Art Festival proceeds help support the Museum’s educational programs for children and youth.
