Gwen Cherry Park
Gwen Cherry Park in Miami-Dade County was named after Gwen Cherry, the first African-American woman to ever be elected to the Florida Legislature. This park is the park for the sports enthusiasts and the youth of the city. The park really works hard to reach out to the community with its various sports programs like a Pop Warner Youth League and the Boys and Girls Club of Miami.
Larry & Penny Thompson Park
The Larry & Penny Thompson Park is a first class campground in Miami-Dade County. This beautiful campground is right next door to the Zoo Miami. The park is named after the late Thompsons who were avid campers and civic leaders in in South Florida. This campground is one of the last portions of leftover wilderness in Miami! The University of Miami used to own this land and there are remnants left of their old fruit groves.
Chapman Field Park

Highland Oaks Park

The Sunrise Civic Center and Aquatic Complex was established in 1998. This 80,000 sq. ft. facility has a theatre, art gallery, banquet hall, athletic club and an aquatics center. This great community treasure offers several fun filled activities for all ages throughout the year.

North County Aquatic Complex
The North County Aquatic Complex is a large, community aquatic center located in Jupiter. This beautiful aquatic complex in Palm Beach County offers a safe and inexpensive way to cool off in the summer. They have a large community pool and a children's wading area. If you are feeling cooped up in the winter months and want to get some exercise, the pools are now heated in the winter!

Veterans Park
Veterans Park in Royal Palm Beach has many times been referred to as a 'hidden paradise'. The park cover almost 6 acres and was incorporated in 1959. This great facility has over the years gained a lot of popularity due to its great amenities that have fun activities for the whole family. There is something for the grown ups and the kids. The kids can enjoy the tot lot and the open area while the adults take in a game of Bocce.
Penzance Park
