Meadows Park
Designed as a neighborhood park by the city of Boynton Beach for the Meadows neighborhood this is a popular park that has something for everyone. Popular park but not over-crowded, great way to meet neighbors. Amenities Basketball court, BBQ grills, benches, bike rack, bocce court, drinking fountain, fitness trail (1/2-mile path with 11-exercise stations), gazebo, open play area, pavilion, picnic tables, playground, rental shelters, tennis courts, volleyball court. Hours: Sunrise- Sunset;lighted facilites open until 10:00 p.m.
Laurel Hills Park
Small neighborhood park of Laurel Hills. Playground was built in the mid-1970's but the equipment is relatively new as it had been replaced in 2006. Open play area, benches, playground and basketball courts. NO restrooms. Great park for playing and picnicing. Hours: sunrise to sunset.
Galaxy Park
This park is adjacent to the Galaxy Elementary School parking lot right on Boynton Beach Blvd east of I-95. You can see it from Boynton Beach Blvd but there is NO ENTRANCE there. You need to go further east to NW 4th Street and head north. You then head back toward I-95 on 4th ave which turns into Galaxy Way. They just recently re-did the playground and it is very colorful and inviting. Lighted areas of the park are open until 10pm otherwise it's sun up to sun down hours for the rest of the park.
Palmetto Greens Linear Park
This park was created mainly as a bicycle trail along a newly formed canal. It's a 1/3 mile bicycle trail with bathrooms and a playground. This could be a good place to start young bike riders that is not such a formidable distance and without worries about car traffic. It is just east of Wilson Park and Poinciana Elementary School. The main entrance with the playground is at the intersection of Railroad and 13th avenue. There are also some spots designated for fishing with the mono-filament disposal sites available at the park.
Intracoastal Park
A unique feature of Intracoastal Park is its access for non-motorized vessel launching; swimming is not permitted in the pond or in the Intracoastal Waterway. A Veterans Memorial by the city of Boynton Beach is located at the entrance to the park. A 1/3-mile concrete path winds around a small lake with a floating fountain. Amenities include BBQ grills, benches, pavilions, and restrooms. The Clubhouse at Intracoastal Park opened in September 2007.
Ezell Hester, Jr. Community Park
Serving the east Boynton Beach community, The Ezell Hester Jr Community Park has a bright fun playground, basketball courts, tennis, raquetball, nature trail, football, cricket, baseball, a recreation center with programming, gazebo, pavilions, and much more. Right on Seacrest Blvd you can't miss the park.
Oaks Park
Oaks Park in Palm Beach Gardens has a hard clay exercise jogging trail, large party pavilions, and some lighted tennis courts. Close to the Gardens Hospital and St. Mark's school, this is a small neighborhood park that is perfect for a little bit of outdoor recreation. It is almost 12 acres of park and the walking trail is mostly shaded. Be aware that there are no restroom facilities.
Mirasol Park
This park is truly hidden! It is in odd spot on "Jog Road"--not to be confused with the main North/South artery in south county--it is a road that twists and turns in a roundabout into an East/West road. Great little park to hold a little one's birthday party because there are pavillions and a nice playground. It's actually in the entrance to the MIRASOL housing development on PGA Blvd.
Lilac Park & Dog Run
Set back from the main drag of Military Trail in a suburban area of Palm Beach Gardens is the Lilac Park. The park was completed in conjunction with the Palm Beach County School District for their needs but is open to the public. Lilac Park has many new facilities. The park features a new double-sized multipurpose field, playgrounds, 2 picnic pavilions,exercise trail and restroom facilities. Gardens Park
Right next to the City hall area in Palm Beach gardens, Gardens Park offers some class act amenities for local sports groups. It is located just west of I-95 and on the north side of the road. Six lighted youth baseball fields, two lighted adult baseball fields, five soccer fields, two play areas, a concession stand, ample restroom facilities, two picnic pavilions and six baseball batting cages are all the amenities at this centrally located park.
