Betti Stradling Memorial Park
Betti Stradling Memorial Park in Coral Springs is a wonderful place where kids can be themselves and enjoy playing baseball and other games on the playground. What you will love most about the place is the fact that it has lots of shade on the playground, nice basketball courts, and a skate park with ramps. If you enjoy playing beach volleyball, you can enjoy playing on a sand volleyball court. This is a wonderful place for kids and families, and parents can jog or walk while the kids enjoy their ball games.
Seminole Wayside Park
Seminole Wayside Park, located in Homestead, is the perfect place to enjoy nature. This park is one of the oldest parks acquired in Miami-Dade county. The park is enclosed by a low rock wall all the way around it's 27.7 acres of beauty. The park contains a variety of plant life including some endangered species. Two of these species are federally endangered, while the other twenty-four are endangered inside the state. From sunrise to sunset, this park is open to any visitors to come and enjoy.
Dante Fascell Park
If you are looking for a substitute to Tropical Park or any other park that is jam packed on a holiday, you should check this place out. Dante Fascell Park is one of the best parks located in the city of South Miami, on Red Road east of US1. It is small but with an amazing playground, a pavilion, BBQ pits, tennis and volleyball courts, you have all you require.
South Dade Park
South Dade Park in Homestead offers a host of amenities for families looking for a fun day out. The park is located near US1 and the Coral Castle attraction in Miami Dade county.
Norman and Jean Reach Park
The Norman & Jean Reach Park is home to a plethora of sports fields as well as the Palm Springs North Pool. A playground and picnic area is available to public use during the operation hours of sunrise to sunset daily. The park is located just north of the big curve in the FL 826 Palmetto Expressway and just east of I-75. It is just east of the Palm Springs North Elementary School.
Sgt. Joseph Delancy Park & Pool
Sgt. Joseph Delancy Park is situated in Miami-Dade county, Florida. The park features a splash playground, a swimming pool and a picnic shelter with great landscapes. It offers a wide range of amenities including basketball courts, baseball fields, batting cages,tennis, playground, recreation center, and technology learning center.
Goulds Park Recreation Center
Goulds Park Recreation Center in Miami Dade County is a state of the art, technology and recreational community center. This beautiful facility contains a 12,000 sf multi use gymnasium with basketball and volleyball courts and seating for 400. Two large programming wings have been added to each side of the gym. This addition brought 10,000 additional square feet to make for a complete community center. There are now extra rooms for educational spaces, arts and crafts, meeting rooms, a weight room, aerobics fitness room, game room and two computer learning labs.
North Pointe Community Center
The new family-friendly North Pointe Community Center in Miami-Dade County, FL., is a great place to go for a family day out with the kids. With a wide range of activities on offer, including a massive splash playground with slides, jets, water cannons and rain curtains it's a great place to cool off! It also has a leisure pool for actual swimming if you get tired of just splashing, and a huge swimming complex with showers and public lockers, and a snack bar, for when you need to recharge after all that fun in the water.
