Rockdale Park
Rockdale Park in Miami, Florida offers pet owners the opportunity to bond with their furry loved ones while enjoying the great outdoors. Located near the Rockland Pineland County Reserve, Rockdale Park is lush, green, and most importantly, dog friendly. As one of the largest out of fourteen dog parks in Miami Dade County, Rockdale Park is spacious enough for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and activity levels to roam about and enjoy a sunny weekend out. Spend time on one of the many grassy lawns chasing Frisbees, or stretch out and enjoy some duck watching as you and your four legged companions relax by the pond.
The park is unique, because unlike most designated dog parks, it is not merely located within a larger park. Instead, the entirety of Rockdale Park is dedicated to encouraging dog owners, young and old, to frolic, run, play, chase, and roll about within its borders. Located only a few blocks from the sandy beaches of southern Florida, the park is also a great place to start or end an early-morning beach run, accompanied by your favorite athletic dog.

The park also caters to its animal loving regulars by providing a clean up stations with disposable baggies and waste specific trash cans to help owners clean up after their pets and keep the area spruced up.
