Wacky Water Day
In an effort to bring attention to local parks and to encourage families to play outdoors together, the Play Outdoors…Unplugged series has been planned by the City of Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department. The average American kid practically lives plugged in. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of opportunities for families to engage in both structured and unstructured play. And the second Saturday of June is the time for play in Boynton Beach.

Wilandia Festival
Mark your calendar and tell all your friends and family about the Wilandia Festival at the Cauley Square Historical Village in Miami. Come hungry and enjoy a variety of food trucks while you oogle at VW, Motorcycles, Custom Cars & Trucks at the auto show. Feel the Force
The International Hurricane Research Center and Miami-Dade County Emergency Management Department have joined forces with the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science to offer a day of hurricane preparation activities for families on Saturday, May 30, with free admission all day to the Miami Science Museum.

Salute Veterans for Memorial Day
Harbourside Place, Jupiter’s premier waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment destination, is hosting its first annual Memorial Day celebration on May 24 to honor those who have served and continue to serve this country. All are welcome to attend the event, beginning at 12 pm, which includes family activities, a commemoration ceremony and free waterfront concert.

Veteran's Coalition Memorial Day Program
The Veterans Coalition of South Florida will present their annual Memorial Day Program beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 30 at Veteran’s Park, west of Boca Raton. This event honors veterans of our armed services and will feature a procession of colors, guest speakers, and patriotic music. The public is invited to attend.

Royal Palm Memorial Day
Join Royal Palm Beach on Monday, May 29 9:00 a.m. at Veterans Park for the city's Memorial Day Observance. A flag-raising ceremony will be followed by motivational presentations in this community based event. Enjoy free refreshments and a live musical performance provided by the RPB Community Band following the ceremony. For more information please contact the Royal Palm Beach Cultural Center at 790-5149.

Palm Beach Gardens Memorial Day
The city of Palm Beach Gardens will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony on May 29th, at 9 a.m. in the Veteran's Plaza amphitheater outside city hall, 10500 N. Military Trail. The city will pay homage to the nation’s fallen service members, with fire-rescue and police honor guards, a Memorial Day address and wreath-laying. Music will be provided by Young Singers of the Palm Beaches. This event is made possible from donated wreaths from Flower Kingdom.

Annual Forgotten Soldiers Outreach Memorial Day Service
The 12th Annual Forgotten Soldiers Outreach Memorial Day Service will be held at Palm Beach Memorial Cemetary in Lantana. Forgotten Soldiers Outreach is a non-profit organization that ships care packages filled with donated items and letters to servicemen and women actively serving overseas. The theme for 2017 is A Day to Remember: 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. Speakers, Tributes, patriotic music and wreath ceremony will comprise the Memorial event.
South Florida National Cemetary Memorial Day Event
South Florida National Cemetery, located at 6501 State Road 7, south of Lantana Road. Thousands of patriotic citizens from around the country will honor the service and sacrifice of our nation's fallen heroes at VA national cemeteries on Memorial Day, May 29, 2017. Join them this year and #HonorAVeteran.
