Celebrate Earth & Arbor Day with the city of Deerfield Beach this year.  The event will take place on April 29th from 1 pm - 5 pm. at Pioneer Park. 

The City of Deerfield Beach would like to invite you to join them at Spring Fest Celebrating Earth & Arbor Day presented by DNA Labs International.  Spring Fest will feature the annual tree giveaway, local entertainment, a kids’ zone featuring a petting zoo and bounce houses, as well as educational components focused on green living.

Island City Yard Sale of the season! This will be the last city of Wilton Manors yard sale before next fall. Come browse and buy gently used items from the dozens of vendors peddling their antiques, furniture, plants, jewelry, clothing, toys, household items and more, Saturday, April 9, 2016, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Hagen Park. The yard sale is free to the public, and there will be a concession stand, so you can eat while you shop.

The 6th annual Redlands Blues & BBQ Festival will feature award winning BBQ and incredible blues & country music. Enjoy the beautiful Fruit & Spice Park in southwest Miami Dade county.  There will be a multitude of children's activities and pony rides available.

The 10th Annual PigOut N Deerfield Beach BBQ Competition will be held on April 22nd this year at the Quiet Waters Park.  Don't miss this barbecue competition that includes both backyard and professional cookers! Categories will include chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket, with the winner in each category determined by a panel of judges. Everyone attending the event will have the opportunity to sample all entries and vote for the People's Choice Winner.

The Hialeah Eggtravaganza has one of the largest egg hunts in the nation with 50,000 eggs to find.  Kids have a blast hunting eggs, riding carnival rides, and burning off the sugar in bounce houses.  The Kid Zone will also have face painting and other activities.  Local kids groups dance and do other performances making this a special local community event.  Check out their recap video from their 2015 event on Youtube.  The event is held at the city's Goodlet Park on April 15th.
