Bring your family and friends to WorldFest on Sunday, April 3rd at the Sportsplex and experience the diverse cultures that make up the community of Coral Springs. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature ethnic foods, live entertainment, arts and crafts and fun activities for children. Fort Lauderdale will come alive on March 11th with a huge Irish Fest to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and Irish heritage.  The majority of the festivities will take place at Bubier Park and down Las Olas Blvd.  Start the day with a race, live music and a drum line competition at the Huizenga Plaza at Bubier Park.  This spacious New River waterfront park is home to anything and everything that's fun and exciting going on in Fort Lauderdale. It is a wonderful venue for the Irish Fest!

If you haven’t explored the expansive facilities of Sunrise’s Civic Center, here are some new reasons to go there. Join them at their Tunes 'n Trucks events on certain Fridays in the spring season. Around 6:00 on these Fridays, food trucks will roll in outside and launch delicious aromas of everyone’s favorites. Set up your lawn chairs etc. and grab some grub before the performance starts at 7.

The newly renovated Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach is celebrating the Year of the  Boar! Fireworks and a Dragon Dance highlight the Norton’s free Chinese New Year’s celebration on Saturday, February 16th. Activities begin at noon and include music, exhibition tours, lectures, storytelling, art projects for all ages, and more. 

Bring the kids to this wonderful interactive music performance at the Roberts Theater in Saint Andrew’s School, Boca Raton.  The Power of Music event will allow children to enjoy a short kid-friendly musical performance by the Symphonia.  Families can interact with The Symphonia's conductor and musicians at live dress rehearsals and discover how classical music inspires creativity.  Meet the orchestra and see the instruments up close.  Be sure to email them to reserve your spot!

This very popular event features everything Greek. Bring the entire family out for a family-friendly day of fun! The Greek Festival is located just south of Yamato, near Patch Reef Park.

You can enjoy delicious dinners of Greek favorites, beer and wine. Savor the scrumptious sweets, including baklava (layers of phyllo with walnuts and honey) and loukoumades (fried donuts dipped in warm honey and sprinkled with cinnamon). Relax with a cup of Greek coffee or ice cold frappe.

Jazz in the Pines concert series starts in September and happens every month through the month of May.  This family friendly event features 9 concerts once a month on Sunday afternoons  weather permitting at William B. Armstrong Dream Park.  Visitors should bring blankets and chairs to this free event.
