Are you a University of Miami Hurricane's fan?  Do you love fishing and a great charity like Habitat for Humanity?  The 7th Annual Celebrity Dolphin Fishing Tournament in Islamorada will be a memorable 2 day star-studded sporting event. Come out and fish with your Canes All-star players. The activities will be held at the Islamorada Founders Park, MM 87 B/S and Coconut Cove Resort and Marina, MM 85 O/S.  For the 2017 event: Hall of Famer TED HENDRICKS will be participating.

Battle in the Bay Dragon Boat Festival will be held at Sombrero Beach in Marathon on May 14th!  Come and enjoy the spectacle of these long Dragon boats with both corporate and community teams at the helm.  There will also be competitors from recreational and professional "club" teams from the Southeastern United States.  This annual event allows for just about ANYONE to participate. 

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Key West will be hosting a family-friendly fishing tournament for people of all ages.  One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event benefit local disabled veterans.  Registration can be completed from now until the 6pm Captains Meeting on June 9th (held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Key West VFW, 2200,N. Roosevelt Blvd)

PERUFEST USA is a Mega gastronomic event taking place at the Miami Dade Fair & Exposition Center on October 1 and 2 of 2016. Their hope is to invite you into a culture with more than 500 years of fusion with the World around it.  This celebration hopes to be a major foodie gathering for the Peruvian culture with a showcase of flavors, aromas and diverse cooking techniques. Come to learn, exchange ideas and see why Peruvian food is some of the best worldwide!

The 33rd Annual Pompano Beach Seafood Festival not only offers the picturesque backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean at the Pompano Beach Pier but also lots and lots of delectable seafood to try.  The Pompano Beachfront has recently been refurbished and is now open to serve as a great venue for community events. The Festival will include a wide variety of live entertainment including Reggae, Contemporary Country, R & B and much more.   Kids will enjoy the “Pompano Jack’s Fun Zone”  at the south end of the boardwalk.

Come out to the beautiful Islamorada Founders Park for one of the best outdoor music festivals in the Florida Keys.  Bay Jam was started years ago as an event to promote the Arts in local schools.  Artists perform and proceeds go to benefit local students in the form of scholarships and tickets to arts perfromances ($180,000 in proceeds from events were given for art, music and dance scholarships).  Guests also bring in canned foods to get in which benefits local food banks.

Come and celebrate Spring as well as our wonderful Florida plants and animals at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden.  This garden is located just east of the main island of Key West on Stock Island. Migration Mania is a wonderful family-friendly event that is both fun and educational.  Help the next generation appreciate and learn about our local habitat as well as create an awareness of the birds hiding in plain view around them.

A Day of Peace, Paws & Music at Woofstock 2016! Held at the Florida Keys Islamorada, this pet-friendly event is perfect for all your four legged friends. Social outlets are just as important for dogs as they are for people, and Woofstock has it all. From music, food and give-aways to canine competitions, resue demonstrarions and more, your whole family (including your favorite furry friend) are sure to enjoy. 

Join in the fun! On December 14th, the Boynton Beach CRA presents the 47th annual Boynton Beach (Delray Beach) Holiday Boat Parade. The flotilla of brightly-decorated boats line up at the Lantana Bridge near Old Key Lime House and motor south along the Intracoastal Waterway to the C-15 canal in Delray.  Parade begins at 6:30 p.m. Viewing areas are located at the Boynton Harbor Marina, Intracoastal Park and along the parade route. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. Free community event. No pets please.
