The Loxahatchee River Environmental Center in Jupiter Florida, or River Center as it’s more commonly known, opened in August 2008. Between his time as an explorer and his time working for the United States Department of Agriculture as the Head of the Foreign Seed and Plant Introduction Office, Fairchild introduced approximately 30,000 new species of plants to America.

Panther Ridge Conservation Center

The center is a privately owned non-profit facility that provides a home and expert care for endangered big cats like leopards, cheetahs, cougars, jaguars, and more. Located in Wellington, Florida just 20 miles away from West Palm Beach, in Palm Beach County.
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum has it all. The lighthouse and the museum are located in Jupiter, Palm beach County between Hillsboro Inlet Light and the Cape Canaveral Light. It is located on a hill which is believed to be a sand dune. It was designed by George G.Maede and modified by Lieutenant William Reynolds. Its completion was done by Captain Edward Yorke in 1860. The light house is made of bricks with double masonry walls where the outer most wall is conical in shape while the other cylindrical .
Busch Wildlife Sanctuary at Loxahatchee River District

Miccosukee is a historical, small unincorporated community in southwest Miami-Dade county off Tamiami Trail. The Miccosukee tribe of Indians holds family oriented events allowing residents and tourists to enjoy fun, educational and cultural experiences. People of Miccosukee speak English though they have a native language Mikasuki.

National Key Deer Refuge
The National Key Deer Refuge is a reserve established in order to protect and conserve Key deer as well as other wildlife within the Florida Keys area. Consisting of around 9,200 acres of untouched land such as freshwater wetlands, mangrove forests and pine Rockland forests, this refuge is a venue to be enjoyed and appreciated by the entire family.
