8. Adopt a sea turtle at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Palm Beach County

Taking a trip down the Ashley Trail to the Seminole Chickee on the intracoastal which serves as an outdoor classroom, you may come across Florida's very own state butterfly, the zebra longwing.
