Pines Ice Arena in Pembroke Pines is located just west of Flamingo Road in Broward County.  This ice skating rink has public skating times daily as well as times for private lessons.  They offer programs for figure skating from beginner to advanced and frequently host competitions and events. Have a future hockey star in your family?  Pines Ice has youth and adult hockey programs available.  Times and prices vary for public skating depending on the day and time.

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park in Pompano Beach is located in northeast Broward County.  Bring the kids for a bouncing good time to burn off all of that endless energy.  They will love the huge pit full of 10,000 foam cubes to tumble around in.  Sky Zone allows full access to all activities during Open Jump which may be reserved online on busy holidays or weekends.

Kabooms Amusement and Party Center located in western Broward county in the city of Davie offers entertainment for kids and adults.  This indoor amusement facility features bounce houses, laser tag, a new arcade and roller skating.  Online specials and packages for activities and tokens can usually be found on their website.  Kid-friendly food choices are available for purchase as well as adult-friendly fizzy beverages.

The Lowe Art Museum in Coral Gables is part of the esteemed University of Miami campus. The Lowe is the largest collecting art museum in the South Florida region and one of only a few in the entire state with such a far-reaching collection. The Lowe contains about 5,000 years of world art in stimulating exhibits. Bring the kids over to experience what different cultures have created to express themselves all while in the cool comfort of air conditioning.

Crane Point Museum and Nature Center is located in Marathon right on the Overseas highway.  Find some time to explore the peaceful environs of the Keys wile hiking one of the trails on Crane Point.  Explore the Hammock loop with signs helping you to identify the trees you will see on the path or the Butterfly Meadow trail with native plants that attract zebra longwings, gulf fritillaries and swallowtails.  Visit the historic Adderley House which is the oldest house in the Keys outside of Key West.

The Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory is located in Key West on Duval street. The Miami Science Museum was founded in 1949 as one of the earliest museums in Miami. Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop & Thunderbird Drive In has been a can't miss attraction in Fort Lauderdale since the early 1960s.  The Swap Shop is located conveniently between I-95 and the Florida Turnpike right on a main road where it's ferris wheel and large sign can be seen.  This 88 acres complex of shopping and entertainment is open 7 days a week 365 days a year.  It operates one of the largest drive-in movie theaters in the world with 14 screens.
