Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts

Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in  Miami is absolutely impossible to miss. Other than the fact that it is a well known spot in South Florida, the spot has made a name for itself. The building was made in 1926 and today is an inspiration for many that know what performing arts is all about which is what makes it a perfect place to visit in South Florida for you and your family. The Gusman is truly a place to view and wonder. Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts provides more than a beautiful view. It is a place to find some of the most breathtaking arts on a quiet evening. The skyline of the building is a beauty with shimmering stars. The golden balconies invite you to an evening of wonder and amazement drawing any family into a world of imagination. It is no wonder that the building has existed for this long.

The building started as a quiet movie spot thanks to the perfect acoustics, furnished interiors and the beautiful balconies and skyline. It has for a long time been the best place to capture diverse cultures both on film and on stage. The jewel of South Florida was the last to show Vaudeville arts. It has also held the position of the number one spot to catch movies in Miami for over 40 years and still competes with modernized state of the art set ups. Some of the most exhilarating performers to have set stage here include B.B King, Etta James, Luciano Pavarotti and Elvis Presley. It is today one of the best spots for most MTV stars ranging form music to stand up comedy. The building has come close to falling apart but with the renovations taking place, its former glory has been restored. If you are looking for a place to catch some "star fever" with your family, this is it!
