C.B. Smith Park

C.B. (Charlie Barney) Smith Park is one of the most popular public county parks in Broward.  It is located in the southwestern city of Pembroke Pines on a 299-acres plot of land.  C.B. Smith is chock full of wonderful recreation opportunities from the spacious Paradise Cove water park to golf and much more.

Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium

Central Broward Regional Park was built in response to the need for more recreational opportunities in Central Broward.  This 110-acre facility was built to serve 7 central Broward cities:  Lauderhill, Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes, Oakland Park, Plantation, Sunrise, and Wilton Manors. 

Gaines Park & Warren Hawkins Aquatic Center

Gaines Park located in West Palm Beach off N. Australian Avenue consists of a community center, sports fields, aquatic center, outdoor stage, tennis center and the Adventure Island playground.  Gaines Park was named after West Palm Beach's first African American Recreation Department and is the city's largest regional park at 56+ acres.  The community center and the pavillions may be rented for private events and parties.  The park is open daily except Sundays.  The hours of the aquatic center and tennis center need to be confirmed before visiting.

Lake Lytal Park & Family Aquatic Center

Lake Lytal Park in West Palm Beach is a 70 acres park and Family Aquatic Center. It features several sports fields and the fun pool with slides and splash playground. This popular and affordable public park is filled with many fun activities the entire family can enjoy. The park is open from sunrise to sunset and pool hours vary depending on the season. Lighted athletic fields are open until 10pm.

Okeeheelee Park

Okeeheelee Park is a regional 1700+ acre park in western Palm Beach county near Wellington.  This huge park consists of a Nature Center, equestrian center, golf course, lighted courts, lighted athletic fields, bike paths, dog park (Pooch Pines), disc golf and many other amenities.  From water-skiing to boating to volleyball to fishing there is something for every active family.

Bryant Park

Bryant Park is located in eastern Lake Worth along the Intracoastal waterway.  Bryant Park's performance area hosts several concerts, celebrations and performances year round. Bryant Park consists of a concert band shell with stage, public address system, 150 person seating area, restroom facilities, a one mile - 12 station Heart Trail, boat ramp with four launching pads, boat trailer parking, horseshoe pits, and a fishing pier.  Use of the boat launch costs $10 per day.

Patch Reef Park

Patch Reef Park is a beautiful park located in central Boca Raton.  This park consists of fifty-five (55) acres of passive and active recreation facilities.  Patch Reef has a comprehensive tennis center, community center, softball and baseball fields, soccer/football fields and lighted basketball courts.  Surrounding the wonderfully renovated children's playground is a fitness trail.

Countess de Hoernle Park aka Spanish River Athletic Facility

Countess de Hoernle Park (Spanish River Athletic Facility) is a city-owned park in Boca Raton, Florida. First opened in 2012 and located south of Spanish River Boulevard, the park came to life when the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District provided the city of Boca Raton with $13.9 million of taxpayers' money to improve upon 80 acres of unused land owned by the city. The land once belonged to the IBM Corporation.



George Snow Park

Located next to the Serenoa Glade Preserve,  George Snow Park in eastern Boca Raton is an almost 6 acre city park. The park can be reached via Glades road just east of I-95.  It is the only access point to the Serenoa Glade Preserve and has plenty of parking.  George Snow Park has a shaded playground with swings and plenty of space to play all in a fenced in area.  Across from the playground is a well-kept tennis court.

Veteran's Park

Veteran's Park in east Delray Beach is located adjacent to the Intracoastal drawbridge on Atlantic Avenue.  Parking is located to the north and to the west of the park.  Come to play at the large wooden playgrounds or sit waterside and watch the boats go by.  The drawbirdge is always a favorite with the kids.  A large pavillion sits on an open green area perfect for running and cavorting.  Events are held in the pavillion and on the grounds throughout the year.  The onsite Recreation Center can be rented and offers classes year round for all ages.
