Topeekeegee Yugnee Park - TY Park
Topeekeegee Yugnee Park, commonly referred to as "TY Park", is a 138+-acre park in Hollywood that means "gathering place" in the native Seminole language. TY Park has many amenities including picnic shelters, a Fitness Zone, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, and volleyball. A two-mile loop of paved pathways around the park are perfect for walking, jogging, skating, and biking.
C.B. Smith Park
C.B. (Charlie Barney) Smith Park is one of the most popular public county parks in Broward. It is located in the southwestern city of Pembroke Pines on a 299-acres plot of land. C.B. Smith is chock full of wonderful recreation opportunities from the spacious Paradise Cove water park to golf and much more.
Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium
Central Broward Regional Park was built in response to the need for more recreational opportunities in Central Broward. This 110-acre facility was built to serve 7 central Broward cities: Lauderhill, Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes, Oakland Park, Plantation, Sunrise, and Wilton Manors.
Quiet Waters Park
Quiet Waters Park is full of wonderful recreational opportunities for the entire family. This 431+ acre park features a fun Splash Adventure area and the Ski Rixen boat-free cable led water ski area (http://www.skirixenusa.com). Splash Adventure is open seasonally and is great for kids who want to play in the water but aren't great swimmers. The highlight is when the large BUCKET fills and dumps all over the splash area. The kids love it.
Phipps Skate Park
Phipps Skate Park in West Palm Beach features about 23,000 square feet of a concrete base surface with metal ramps and decks made with Skate-Lite Pro skating surface. Helmets with a functioning strap are mandatory (rentals available) and a waiver must be on file for all park users. Waivers must be signed by a skater’s parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18. Phipps Skate Park is located just south of Southern Blvd on the west side of Dixie Highway.
Gaines Park & Warren Hawkins Aquatic Center
Gaines Park located in West Palm Beach off N. Australian Avenue consists of a community center, sports fields, aquatic center, outdoor stage, tennis center and the Adventure Island playground. Gaines Park was named after West Palm Beach's first African American Recreation Department and is the city's largest regional park at 56+ acres. The community center and the pavillions may be rented for private events and parties. The park is open daily except Sundays. The hours of the aquatic center and tennis center need to be confirmed before visiting.
Lake Lytal Park & Family Aquatic Center
Lake Lytal Park in West Palm Beach is a 70 acres park and Family Aquatic Center. It features several sports fields and the fun pool with slides and splash playground. This popular and affordable public park is filled with many fun activities the entire family can enjoy. The park is open from sunrise to sunset and pool hours vary depending on the season. Lighted athletic fields are open until 10pm.
Nancy M. Graham Centennial Square Park Fountains
The Centennial Fountain, located in Centennial Square at the south end of Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach, can accommodate up to 100 people. Groups may request permits to use the fountain area for a two hour period for $25/resident & $35/non-resident. Permits do not provide exclusive use of fountain or wet play areas. This plaza includes benches, tables and chairs, as well as an interactive fountain that is a popular site for children’s play. Street -side parking and garage parking is available nearby.
Patch Reef Park
Patch Reef Park is a beautiful park located in central Boca Raton. This park consists of fifty-five (55) acres of passive and active recreation facilities. Patch Reef has a comprehensive tennis center, community center, softball and baseball fields, soccer/football fields and lighted basketball courts. Surrounding the wonderfully renovated children's playground is a fitness trail.
John Prince Memorial Park
Picower Super Park within John Prince Park is one of the main draws to this central Palm Beach County facility in central Lake Worth. Recently created, the Picower Super park has a large barrier free splash area and multiple ability/age play equipment in a fenced area with restrooms. This county run regional park has about 726.36 acres (includes 338 lake acres). There's a popular campground and everything from walking trails, kayaking, golfing to bocce, basketball, volleyball and tennis.
