Naval Air Station Memorial Day in the Keys
Naval Air Station Key West and area veterans will mark the nation’s Memorial Day at two ceremonies Monday morning.
At 9 a.m., the Navy League Key West Council will hold their annual ceremony at the Maine Memorial in the Key West City Cemetery. NAS Key West Commanding Officer Capt. Steve McAlearney will be the guest speaker and the air station Honor Guard will render a 21-gun rifle salute.

Miami Springs Memorial Day Ceremony
For the 29th consecutive year, the Daughters of the American Revolution, John MacDonald DAR Chapter, will hold a Memorial Day ceremony on the Circle on Curtiss Parkway (1st block south of the circle at the War Monument). It will be on Mon. May 29th at 10 a.m.

Coral Gables Memorial Day Ceremony
The City of Coral Gables will be holding a quiet and respectful service to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Honor our fallen soldiers by coming to show support. Teach your children of the sacrifices made for our freedoms. Wear patriotic colors and bring a flag to wave. This will be a respectful ceremony.
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. For information, contact Parks and Recreation at 305-460-5600.

May Memorial at the Butler House
The Deerfield Beach Historical Society would like to honor all Veterans as well as those who lost their life in the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom of their country. The event will include a flag-folding ceremony, presentation of ceremonial wreath, speeches on "Thoughts on Memorial Day", bagpipes, salutes to Fallen Soldiers, raffles, tours of historic Butler house and patriotic music. Food will also be available.

Davie 4th at Pine Island Park
Come celebrate the 4th of July with the city of Davie! Activities will include live music beginning at 4:00p.m. on the ball fields at Pine Island Park located at 3801 S. Pine Island Road, Davie.
Free family activities including bounce houses, rides, a climbing wall, arts and crafts, youth entertainment, swimming and games around the park all day along with Food Trucks with a variety of food available for sale. Support local Boy and Girl Scouts by purchasing Snow Cones, Popcorn, and Cotton Candy.
