Come join the Caribbean American for Community Involvement (CAFCI) on Saturday, May 13th at 3:00pm until sundown at beautiful Veterans Park on Royal Palm Beach Blvd just south of Okeechobee Blvd. This will be a day of celebration of all our cultures, as it promises to increase our knowledge of others and to share our diverse heritages. The ACT Festival

The ACT (Activate-Celebrate-Transform) Festival is an art-centric multi-disciplinary event supported by a National Endowment of the Arts “Our Town” grant hosted by The Frank on Saturday, April 29 from Noon to 3 p.m. Visitors will be treated to an afternoon of unforgettable festivities, including interactive art and community engagement, tours of The Frank, live entertainment, caricature artists and much more! 

Broward AWARE

The Children's Services Council of Broward will be hosting the Broward AWARE! Protecting OUR Children, Family Fun and Resource Fair  on April 22nd, 2017 from 11:00am-3:00pm. This is a family resource fair including series of mini-workshops on children safety, over 40 community resource tables, drowning prevention and safe sleep resources, as well as free food and raffle prizes.

Easter Egg Hunt at North Beach Village Resort

It’s springtime – flowers are blooming, the weather is cool and #VillageLife is flourishing. This year, “spring in” to a mid-century modern paradise for an Easter Egg Hunt at North Beach Village Resort! Starting at 12 p.m., children and parents can decorate their own Easter bag, and at 1 p.m. the hunt for surprises begins! One hunt will be for children under 5 years old and the other will be for children ages 5 to 12. Special treats and goodies will be provided.

Lynn University Community Egg Hunt

What better way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon than by coming out to the beautiful campus of Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL on April, 15 at 12:30 pm, to take part in the second annual Lynn Community Egg Hunt and then watching the Fighting Knights lacrosse team take the field. Taking place on Lynn University's Perper Intramural Field promptly at 12:30 pm, kids ages 10 & under are free to participate in a hunt which will feature over 10,000 eggs with candy and special prizes.

Student Showcase of Films Sizzling Red Carpet Awards Show

The Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission – in collaboration with the Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF), announced the finalists for the 22nd Annual Student Showcase of Films. The winners will be declared on Friday, March 10th, before more than 700 students, celebrities, dignitaries and industry professionals at the electrifying Red Carpet Awards Show at Lynn University’s Keith C. and Elaine Johnson World Performing Arts Center in Boca Raton, FL.
