JazzAid Live at the Banyan Bowl
JazzAid Live at the Banyan Bowl, is an eight-concert series taking place at Pinecrest Gardens in Miami. The event aims to raise money for World Central Kitchen and pandemic relief efforts. At the series kick-off event, International superstar Jon Secada will perform live in Pinecrest Gardens' Banyan Bowl at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 17. The event will be live-streamed into your home to enjoy.
The World Central Kitchen is an organization that uses the power of food to heal and strengthen communities through times of crisis and beyond that was founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés. They have brought a hot meal to people in crisis all over the world for years addressing food needs post-hurricane to pandemic.
During the 2020-21 concert season, jazz fans can enjoy live-streamed performances by three-time Grammy Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater, jazz vocalist Kurt Elling, the world-renowned Glenn Miller Orchestra, award-winning trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, acclaimed saxophonist, singer and composer Grace Kelly, child prodigy Joey Alexander, and multi-Grammy Award winning The Manhattan Transfer. The emcees for the concert series will be Ceci Velasco and Latin jazz icon Tito Puente, Jr.

The cost is $15 for an individual performance and $100 for the eight- show jazz series, with a generous portion of ticket sales being donated to the World Central Kitchen. Tickets can be purchased online at www.pinecrestgardens.org/jazzaid.
