Earth Day Festival
The Earth Day Festival is a family friendly annual event held at Pinecrest Gardens. The purpose of this event is to celebrate our amazing planet and shed light on the importance of keeping our envrionment clean. This fun filled day will feature eco-friendly activities, entertainment on stage at their outdoor amphitheater, animal exhibits, interactive educational workshops, botanical garden tours, music, food and much more. On Sunday, April 17th they will open the gates FREE to the public for a day of activities for the entire family including workshops organized by the CLEO Institute and Plant Societies. Enjoy food demos, planting activities, plant sales, an eco-fashion show, green vendors, wild life shows, local school performances, crafts for kids and so much more.
Admission is FREE. Parking is also free and overflow parking access will be available with the Pinecrest People Mover making continous stops for pick-up and drop-off from 10:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. to Pinecrest Gardens from the following locations:
- Pinecrest Elementary (10250 Red Road)
- Palmetto Middle School (7351 SW 128th Street)
- Miami Palmetto Senior High School (7460 SW 118th Street)
