Miami Springs Memorial Day Ceremony

For the 29th consecutive year, the Daughters of the American Revolution, John MacDonald DAR Chapter, will hold a Memorial Day ceremony on the Circle on Curtiss Parkway (1st block south of the circle at the War Monument).  It will be on Mon. May 29th at 10 a.m.  In the past, local Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts have performed the American Creed and the Pledge of Allegiance.  The Sons of the American Revolution has served as Color Guard and historian Mary Ann Goodlett-Taylor will read the names and place a wreath in front of the monument.  For more information, call the city of Miami Springs at 305-805-5000.
