Henry Morrison Flagler Museum
The Flagler Museum allows visitors a glimpse into past Palm Beach glamour and fame. The wonderful historic home to Henry Flagler showcases furnishings from the early 1900s. The home, White Hall, was completed in 1902. This estate was his private 75-room, 100,000 square foot winter home. Henry M. Flagler was a key figure in the development of South Florida and is known as the Father of Miami as well as the founder of Palm Beach.
Norton Museum of Art
***The Museum reopened on July 5 after a five-week hiatus to re-install galleries and prep for construction. Admission is FREE for all through December 2018! Be sure to visit the reinstalled galleries to view your favorite works in a new context. ***
City Place
City Place is a popular shopping and entertainment area in downtown West Palm Beach. It is located just east of the Kravis Performing Arts Center and south of Okeechobee Blvd. City Place plays host to several quality family entertainment and events with Family Festivals, concerts and holiday fun like nightly snowfall in December.
Revolutions Bowling & Bar
Revolutions Bowling & Bar in West Palm Beach, Florida is a fun and exciting place for people to gather for a night of bowling and good fun. Situated at the North end of CityPlace, West Palm's entertainment central hub, you can't drop in without noticing. Palm Beach Ice Works
Palm Beach Ice Works in West Palm Beach is an Olympic size ice facility. It is primarily dedicated as a training center for the serious figure skater and hockey player however there are Family Skate times as well. The PBIW offers camps, classes, birthday parties and training for serious athletes. This new facility is a great place for families to enjoy time together or for the kids to learn figure skating, hockey, or even gymnastics. There are vending machines in case you need to snack and relax.
South Florida Science Center and Aquarium
The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium contains 50 interactive exhibits, a digital planetarium, a Science Trail outdoors, miniature golf, multiple fresh & salt water aquariums, a stargazing observatory, natural history exhibits, and numerous educational programs. The center was recently renovated in 2013 and now includes a Subway and an aquarium. The South Florida Scence Center is a member of the ASTC and recognizes memberships for admission from participating science centers.
Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society
Palm Beach Zoo is a 23 acres attraction located in the northern end of Dreher Park just east of I-95. The Palm Beach Zoo is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
West Palm Beach Golf Course
West Palm Beach Golf Course is located just east of I-95 in southern West Palm Beach. In 2009 the course was restored by 10 time PGA Tour Champion Mark McCumber. The course features an 18-hole, par 71 championship Dick Wilson original designed course reaching 7002 yards and having five sets of tees. Tee times can be reserved online and by phone. Private lessons and clinics are available to either learn golf or improve your game. The course has it's own restaurant for repose after the game.
Peanut Island
Peanut Island was begun as a small 10 acres island that was a product of dredging done in the Intracoastal back in 1918. Over the years, further dredging and deposits have grown the island to over 80 acres! A recent project in Lake Worth to produce the new Snook Islands utilized fill from this island. This island has a historic tie to John F. Kennedy from the time of the Cuban Missle Crisis. His bunker, as well as a Maritime Museum, can be found on the island.
