Green Cay Wetlands
Green Cay Wetlands in western Boynton Beach is the perfect spot to view Florida native plants and animals. It is a photogrpahers dream and they come in droves to photograph some spectacular scenes. The boardwalk takes you from the nature center in a couple of different length loops. There are pavillions for seating and shade as well as a few canopy walks that are covered. The only restrooms and drinking fountains are at the nature center so be sure to take advantage of them before heading out, especially with little ones.
Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge
Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge is run by the US Department of Fish & Wildlife located in western Boynton Beach off Lee Rd. It is adjacent to the Bedners Farmer Fresh Market on State Road 441.
Bedners Farm Fresh Market
Bedner's Farm Fresh Market is located on US 441 in western Boynton Beach. It is adjacent to the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge run by the US Department of Fish and Wildlife. Bedners is a family owned and operated farm that was established in the 1960s. They recently opened up the Fresh Market and have been expanding their events and amenities yearly.
Coconut Cove Waterpark
Coconut Cove Waterpark is a Palm Beach County operated waterpark located in western Boca Raton. It is part of the large Burt Aaronson Regional Park which is home to ballfields, playgrounds, pavillions and the Daggerwing Nature Center. This waterpark is open seasonally and closed soon after school begins in the fall.
Gumbo Limbo Nature Center
Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is located in southeast Boca Raton. It is a 20 acres protected barrier island area that provides refuge to many varieties of plants and animals - some rare or endangered. Guests can enjoy a boardwalk trail that features coastal Mangroves and a wooden observation tower as well as live aquatic exhibits and interactive nature center exhibits.
Cinemark Palace 20 and XD
Cinemark Palace 20 and XD is located just off the Glades Road exit on I-95. It is adjacent to the Boomers entertainment attraction on Airport Road. The theater features 3D, Real 3D, XD and stadium seating. The Premier area of the theater is located upstairs with the Bogart's fine dining restuarant and bar. Child care is available downstairs as well as valet parking.
Boomers Boca Raton
Boomers of Boca Raton features miniature golf, go karts, bumper boats, laser tag, rock wall, batting cages, arcades and mini bowling. Boomers also hosts private parties. Attraction Value Packs or Combo Packs are available thru their website or onsite. Bomers serves food as well. It is located just south of the Cinemark Palace 20 movie theater on Airport Road off the Glades exit of I-95.
Monkey Joe's Boca Raton
Monkey Joes is a nationwide indoor inflatables gym. Monkey Joes has walkin play as well as hosts private birthday parties. Adults are allowed free entry with a child's paid entry. Socks must be worn inside the inflatables. Only kids 12 years-old and younger are permitted to play on the equipment. There is a Mini Monkey Zone which is a separate play area for toddlers 3 years-old and younger. Anyone over 12 years-old is not allowed to bounce or play at Monkey Joe's.
Boca Raton Children's Museum
The Boca Raton Children's Museum is housed in one of the oldest buildings in the city of Boca Raton. Its admission is kept affordable through the donations and fundraising done by the organization. Interactive play activities include: Ricketts Corner Store gives children the opportunity to shop the old fashion way in this replica of Boca Raton’s first grocery. It is one of the favorite activities for children of all ages.
Boca Museum of Art
The Boca Museum of Art is located in the Mizner plaza in east Boca Raton, adjacent to the Mizner Amphitheater. This location was built in 2001 and houses a permanent collection, traveling exhibits, an art school, store and public meeting spaces.
