Broward Mega Parks
C.B. Smith Park (Pembroke Pines)
C.B. Smith Park is located in Broward County in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and is a nice place to see while in the South Florida area. This 300-acre park is one of Broward County’s most diverse parks and was voted as a favorite park in Broward county. Paradise Cove Water Park is a seasonal feature at CB Smith Park that is generally open from March to October. Paradise Cove includes some truly exhilarating play areas: Parrot's Point, a 12-inch-deep pool with two small waterslides and other interactive play elements designed for ages 5 and under; Sharky's Lagoon, an 18-inch-deep pool with three waterslides (83, 98, and 125 feet long) and other interactive play elements; Crazy Creek, a 410-foot-long meandering tube ride with interactive play elements along the route. A brand new set of 4 curley-que tall waterslides are being installed and will be called the "Paradise Pipeline". In addition to the fun water park available, this park has a huge variety of activities. Fishing, tennis, mini golf, batting cages, basketball, horseshoes, playgrounds, bike rentals, and volleyball are just some available activities. Can't get enough? Topekeegee Yugnee Park (T.Y. Park)--Hollywood
Topekeegee Yugnee is a Seminole Indian phrase meaning “meeting or gathering place,” and is a large park located in Hollywood, Florida in Broward County. This 138 acre park lives up to its name with many shaded areas, open picnic areas, a large open field for family fun, and a gazebo which may be rented out for weddings and other events. If you are interested in interacting with nature, try renting a johnny boat, kayak, canoe or paddleboat at the Marina for up to 4 hours. Fishing can be done from the shore of the lake, from rental boats, and from the fishing pier. T.Y. Park has camp sites for RV’s and others for tents so you can stay the night. The gem of the park is the seasonally open Castaway Island Water Park.
