10 Best Parks in Palm Beach County
We searched through municipal, state, and county websites and visited lots of local parks to find some of the BEST parks in Palm Beach County. Our time with our families is precious and limited for most families. When family time comes we want to take our kids to the best, and most inexpensive, places to enjoy ourselves.
Grab some tasty snacks, a cooler with refreshing drinks and head out to some of the amazing playgrounds Palm Beach county has to offer. We selected parks with really neat play equipment that also had other amenities to enjoy. The parks below all have wonderful playgrounds and some also have water features (splash pad, beach, pool, water parks), nature centers, trails, ball fields, amphitheatres, campgrounds, etc as well. Some of these are what I refer to as “Mega Parks”.
10. Scott’s Park in Wellington
Just opened in 2010, this fully accessible park was built in loving memory of local residents’ child who passed away at the young age of 6. Hundreds from the community came together to assemble this beautiful playground that allows children of all abilities to seamlessly play together. The playground includes a full acre of accessible playground equipment including slides, sensory items, shades, swings, wheelchair ramps and many other attractions. The Village of Wellington’s amphitheater is nearby and hosts movie nights, concerts, and plays year round.
