With a vibrant community of 55,000 people, Wellington in Palm Beach County is the most populous village in Florida by some distance. And nowhere is the vibrancy of this community reflected more than the Village Hall, designed to take care of work, leisure, and assorted utility needs of its residents. A state-of-the-art amphitheater, a recreational playground, an aquatics complex, and a community center are among some of the major facilities that can be availed of at the Wellington Village Hall.

Upon entering the Village Hall area, you will first notice the 54,000 square foot Governmental Center on the righthand side.  Before venturing further into the area, don't miss stopping at the 9/11 Memorial with a piece of steel on display, plaques and an eternal flame.  It is located right at the entrance to the Village Hall and is a wonderful tribute.

The Amphitheater at the village hall is a 3200 square feet facility with all the modern bells and whistles. Capable of accomodating 1500 people, the amphitheater, with its sophisticated lights and sound system, is a perfect venue for concerts, plays, corporate and school functions, and movies. Often booked for weeks in advance, the amphitheater also hosts the massively popular 'Wellington Idol' singing talent competition. 

The village hall also features a barrier-free playground, called Scott's Place, that is designed to cater to the needs of both able bodied and disabled children. This extensive playground comprises of equipment such as slides, shades, swings, wheelchairs, and other sensory items spread over one acre of land. 

The village hall area features the  Aquatics Complex  that comes equipped with a newly renovated, state of the art, olympic sized pool for those who would rather spend their time in the water. Designed to meet competitive standards, the renovation has made sure the pool has extra deep areas, elevated and extra wide pool deck, and stainless steel gutters to manage waves. The pool is fully geared to host competitive events with an electronic touchpad synced with a scorecard, ensure an ease of display. Other notable features include a concessions stand, showers, changing rooms, and introductory classes for first aid, CPR and lifeguard duties. 

A sprawling Community Center, spread over 28,000 square feet is another major attraction at the village hall. A multi use facility, the community center is available to all the residents on rent for various functions, parties, meetings and wedding receptions. The community center is located adjacent to the tennis courts.
