The Wellington Amphitheater is a large, community amphitheater located in the Village of Wellington. It is a newer facility that was opened in the summer of 2010 and funded by a grant from Palm Beach County. The main building is 3,200 square feet and is located in the center of a large, beautifully maintained green space that can hold up to 1,500 people at one time! The grounds are stunning and surrounded by modern lighting, palm trees, fresh flowers and a nice, paved sidewalk with curbing. 

There are many community events held at the amphitheater. Almost all of the city's holiday events are held here, as well as the popular Wellington Idol, which is an American Idol type talent audition and show with prizes. If you are looking for something free to do in the local community you will almost always find an event happening here. The Wellington Amphitheater holds weekly events like Free Movie Night, Free Concert Night, theater plays, comedy shows, Art Festivals, the Green Market, The Food Truck Invasion, school functions and so much more. There is always a full calendar with something to do every single week of the year, and the events are always free to attend! 

Amenities:A 3,200 square foot building with a main stage, a state of the art lighting and complete sound system, restrooms, green rooms, a loading area, and a  green space that seats 1,500.

Located next door to the amphitheater is Scott's Place which is a barrier free playground for children of all abilities. On the other side of the parking lot is the Wellington Aquatic Complex. There is truly something for everyone to do in this area, and if you have never attended an event here make you will want to bring your family to an event very soon.
