The Centennial Fountain, located in Centennial Square at the south end of Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach, can accommodate up to 100 people.  Groups may request permits to use the fountain area for a two hour period for $25/resident & $35/non-resident.   Permits do not provide exclusive use of fountain or wet play areas.  This plaza includes benches, tables and chairs, as well as an interactive fountain that is a popular site for children’s play. Street -side parking and garage parking is available nearby.

Snook Islands Natural Area

Palm Beach County, City of Lake Worth,Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Florida Inland Navigation District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers collaborated in the Snook Islands Project which involved extensive restoration of a large area of the Lake Worth Lagoon (Intracoastal).  The shoreline was planted with 11 acres of mangroves and other aquatic plants, over two acres of oyster reefs were created and 4 islands made with fill from Peanut Island.  There is NO parking right at the Natural Area.

Bryant Park

Bryant Park is located in eastern Lake Worth along the Intracoastal waterway.  Bryant Park's performance area hosts several concerts, celebrations and performances year round. Bryant Park consists of a concert band shell with stage, public address system, 150 person seating area, restroom facilities, a one mile - 12 station Heart Trail, boat ramp with four launching pads, boat trailer parking, horseshoe pits, and a fishing pier.  Use of the boat launch costs $10 per day.

Patch Reef Park

Patch Reef Park is a beautiful park located in central Boca Raton.  This park consists of fifty-five (55) acres of passive and active recreation facilities.  Patch Reef has a comprehensive tennis center, community center, softball and baseball fields, soccer/football fields and lighted basketball courts.  Surrounding the wonderfully renovated children's playground is a fitness trail.

James A. Rutherford Park

James A. Rutherford Park is a 45-acre park in Boca Raton open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday.  The park is closed on the weekends.  It is located in eastern Boca Raton on the east side of the intracoastal near Gumbo Limbo Nature Center.  It is located behind the Publix shopping center so be careful coming in from Federal Highway not to pass it! 

West Delray Regional Park

Take Atlantic Avenue all the way west past State Road 441 and you will find a dirt road before you and pass a USPS office.  West Delray Regional Park is a huge park with over 300 acres, 38 lake acres, that is a local hot spot for RC enthusiasts and fans.  There are mountain bike and equestrian trails as well as walking paths.  Restrooms are located on premises but are only portable toilets.  There are primitive group camping sites and places to engage in Archery and freshwater fishing.

Knowles Park

Knowles Park is located just north of Linton Blvd and east of northbound US 1 in Delray Beach.  This small park consists of a boat ramp, fishing area, playground, shaded green areas, restrooms and picnic tables.  Across the street is a convenient Walgreens for any last minute needs.  The playground is better suited for school age children then for smaller tots.  There is a large yellow spiral sculpture along US1 that helps identify the park location from the road.  Ample parking is provided.  

Delray Municipal Beach

Delray Municipal Beach is located at the far eastern side of Atlantic Avenue where it intersects with A1A.

Atlantic Dunes Park

Atlantic Dunes Park in Delray Beach is one of just a few public shorelines in town. Located well enough south of the busy Atlantic Avenue area of town, Atlantic Dunes tends to be a much quieter spot for sunbathing and enjoying the surf.  Parking for the beach is located on the west side of A1A and is metered. Across the street, a boardwalk takes you up past showers and restrooms to picnic areas and a pavilion.  The beach is guarded and also has "surf chairs" available for handicapped patrons who need access to the beach.
