South Florida is home to many aquatic sites. Just in the City of Miami, there are twelve of these aquatic sites and one of the twelve is the Charles Hadley Aquatic Complex. The Robert King High Park and Carlos Arboleya Campground in Miami, Florida dates from the early 70's and was reopened in 2011 after extensive remodeling. The improved park features a new building for classes and meetings plus the addition of a sanded volleyball court.

Coral Reef Park in Palmetto Bay is the village's premier public park with over 50 acres of stunning south Florida. Dante Fascell Park is one of the best parks located in the city of South Miami, on Red Road east of US1. It is small but with an amazing playground, a pavilion, BBQ pits, tennis and volleyball courts, you have all you require.

South Dade Park in Homestead offers a host of amenities for families looking for a fun day out.  The park is located near US1 and the Coral Castle attraction in Miami Dade county.

The Norman & Jean Reach Park is home to a plethora of sports fields as well as the Palm Springs North Pool.  A playground and picnic area is available to public use during the operation hours of sunrise to sunset daily.  The park is located just north of the big curve in the FL 826 Palmetto Expressway and just east of I-75.  It is just east of the Palm Springs North Elementary School.

Sgt. Joseph Delancy Park is situated in Miami-Dade county, Florida. The park features a splash playground, a swimming pool and a picnic shelter with great landscapes. It offers a wide range of amenities including basketball courts, baseball fields, batting cages,tennis, playground, recreation center, and technology learning center.

Goulds Park Recreation Center in Miami Dade County is a state of the art, technology and recreational community center. This beautiful facility contains a 12,000 sf multi use gymnasium with basketball and volleyball courts and seating for 400. Two large programming wings have been added to each side of the gym. This addition brought 10,000 additional square feet to make for a complete community center. There are now extra rooms for educational spaces, arts and crafts, meeting rooms, a weight room, aerobics fitness room, game room and two computer learning labs.

The city of Miami is known for its nightlife and white, sandy beaches, but there's more beauty in the Magic City to be seen. Colonial Drive Park is one of Miami's best kept secrets. The Wellington Community Center is located in a large municipal complex that includes several gems in the Wellington community.  Found in the same area are the city hall building, the wonderful 911 tribute with a piece of the World Trade Center on display, Scotts barrier free playground, the amphitheater and more.  The center itself consists of a large, multi-use facility with over 28,000 square feet.  Residents can rent the facility, which has a lovely open air patio, for their own private functions like baby showers or birthdays.
