Veterans Community Park is a recreational facility that boasts of 95-acres packed with different activities for all. The park is located in Collier County, North Naples, Florida, very busy with activities for children, exercise classes and it serves as a dog attraction park with a dog run area. Gator Run Park is one of the most popular children’s parks in Weston. It is located in a Park Road, on a 7 acre land. It is full of recreation possibilities, starting from the playground to the picnic shelters.  The park is near the Gator Run Elementary School. This means that it perfectly serves the leisure interests of these pupils. Additionally, the playground is shaded, which means that the children can safely play without getting any sunburns. With palm trees aplenty Crestwood Park is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely afternoon reading and napping in the shade or meeting up with friends to have a cookout and play some lawn games. Bring your dog! Crestwood Park has a dog friendly section where your four-legged friend can stretch his legs and catch some frisbees.

Vista View Park is a gorgeous park located in the Town of Davie in Broward County. This park has 272 acres of rolling hills and meadows. The park was created with nature in mind. Landscapers created three native habitats to the park: Dry prairie, mesic flatwoods, and hammock using plants native to the area. The hope is that more animals will make this park their natural habitat. This park is a popular location for outdoor enthusiasts and families who love to try different activities.

Todd A. Robiner Park is located in 350 Lamancha Avenue, Royal Palm Beach, Florida. The park is popular for the dog park which is situated in a third of an acre land on the northern edge of this park. It is excellent for dog lovers who can bring their pets along with them. The dog park has two different entrances and doggie fountains. There is also a small parking lot for your car and shaded seating locations where you can watch your dog play around. After your dog is done playing, you can take it to a wash station for a cleanup.

Plantation Heritage Park is a large 88.5 acre park located in central Broward County. Guests to the park can enjoy hours of quality family time at the park's several amenities. Have you next event at the 2,000 square foot Fountain Room with air-conditioning and a capacity of 125 people overlooking the lake. Take a stroll along the beautiful nature trails to see tropical hardwood hammocks, coastal forest and pine flatwoods. Observe and learn about native Florida plants and flowering trees.

Sombrero Beach Park is located a few blocks south of US1 in Marathon.  This well-maintained sandy beach front offers plenty of space to pick in the shade, let the kids run about on the playground, or take a dip in the water.  Although Sombrero Beach Park is located in a residential neighborhood, it does have ample parking. You won't have to carry your beach gear far to get to the shore and the paths are partly shaded.  Bring your snacks and picnic or plan to grill at the covered pavilions.

Clarence Higgs Memorial Beach is an over 16 acre beach park located in Monroe County at the end of the Florida Overseas Heritage Trail.  It is just west of Smathers Beach and adjacent to the Key West Wildlife Center in downtown Key West. This beach is more than just a gorgeous place to spend the day under the South Florida sun, it is also a historical site with significant features that date back to the post-Civil War era.
