Green Market at the Palm Beach Zoo

The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society hosts a Green Market on select Saturdays within the zoo.  The event is now called the "Palm Beach Zoo Produce Stand". The vendors offer farm fresh produce and sustainably collected items for sale near the exit gate.  Learn about how buying local helps to protect wildlife. See all that Florida has to offer from eggplants, green beans, and beets to zucchini as well as the ever famous citrus! Now you can pick up CSA boxes or see a sample of what is included in their produce boxes.

Jupiter Seafood Festival

Jupiter Seafood Festival at CARLIN PARK (new location) in Jupiter is a 2 day event featuring 9 different live entertainers and oodles of delicious seafood.  This is the 4th Annual Seafood Festival with last year's event bringing in over 14,000 people.  Bring your chairs or blankets and some sunblock then enjoy the live music and delectable seafood. There will be a Children's Area with activities for the little ones who are admitted free.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta

Celebrate Mexican culture and heritage this year on May 2nd in Delray Beach at the "Cinco De Mayo" festival at the Old School Square Pavilion. The event is hosted by the Hispano-Latino Cultural Alliance.  This Saturday Fiesta (the 5th of May is on a Tuesday this year) will include folk dances, Flamenco, Square dancers, Latino bands, Mariachi performances and games.  

Artists' Alley Open Studios

Take an evening stroll down Artists' Alley and visit all the open studios and galleries in the area.  Artists' Alley is located in Delray Beach's newest hot spot neighborhood of Pineapple Grove Arts District. Artists have taken up residence in garages located east of 3rd street and west of the train tracks.  The strip runs north and south.  It is all an easy leisurely walk with lots to see.  Some of the galleries will offer free light refreshments or wine.

Morikami Sushi & Stroll Summer Walks

Morikami Museum and Gardens every summer offers special evenings to come out and enjoy their beautiful gardens.  When the days are hot, bright and humid, Morikami welcomes guests to take an evening stroll through the grounds and enjoy the culinary treats of the Cornell Cafe (separate cost). Relax and enjoy the sun's slow descent into the horizon. Very little is more spectacular than the sun's last rays hitting the Morikami lake with the Japanese bridge in the background.

Lantern Festival in the Spirit of Obon

Morikami's Lantern Festival is one of the most beautiful and popular events at the Gardens.  Obon is the Japanese festival to honor ancestors who are believed to briefly visit the living. It is held in the summer time. But, wait, isn't this a FALL event at Morikami for 2018?  Yes.  This is why it is only in the "Spirit of Obon" since summers are not the most comfortable times to enjoy an outdoor festival in South Florida.

Delray Beach Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Delray Beach this year with the annual St. Patrick's Festival and Parade.  Friday, from 5-10 pm, enjoy the Siamsa Celtic Celebration (Irish variety show) at the Center for the Arts Pavilion near Old School Square. There will be Irish cultural performances, traditional Irish grub with beer, and the St. Baldrick's Head Shaving Fund-Raiser.  St. Baldrick's is a childhood cancer research fundraiser in which every year on St.

Hatsume Fair

Welcome the first buds of Spring Morikami style this year at their 39th annual Hatsume Fair in Boca Raton. This weekend fair is fun for the entire family with things for adults and kids to enjoy.  There will be 3 stages with performances, demonstrations, and an Anime costume contest.  Come with an empty stomach and enjoy the award-winning Cornell Cafe's a-la-carte menu or partake in the event's special festival foods.  Adults can imbibe special imported Sake and Kirin Beers or shop for hand-crafted items featured at the fair.

Palm Beach Post Camp-a-Palooza

Hosted by the Palm Beach Post newspaper at the Cityplace shopping district, Camp-a-palooza is a free event for parents and families.  Vendors from many of the area's camp providers will be there to share information about Summer Camp opportunities.  Bring the kids and enjoy free kid-friendly entertainment, cotton candy, and bounce houses.  The Post's comprehensive Summer Camp Guide will be printed and available early for all who attend.
