Performance

The Hialeah Eggtravaganza has one of the largest egg hunts in the nation with 50,000 eggs to find.  Kids have a blast hunting eggs, riding carnival rides, and burning off the sugar in bounce houses.  The Kid Zone will also have face painting and other activities.  Local kids groups dance and do other performances making this a special local community event.  Check out their recap video from their 2015 event on Youtube.  The event is held at the city's Goodlet Park on April 15th.

2017 will bring a much more low key event to Coral Gables.  There is no plan for a helicopter egg drop this year.  This year there will be TRADITIONAL egg hunt events at the same 5 locations as 2016.  Egg hunts at War Memorial Youth Center. Special 0-3 years old hunt at 10:30 a.m.

Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach will be having special events ON Easter Sunday for families at their Cool Corner Family Bistro.  They will have 3 Egg Hunts at 12, 3 and 6pm.  Be sure to catch the Easter Bunny at 5 pm and Peter Pan with Tinker Bell.  Great photo opportunities will be available as well as a live show!  Games and activities for the children will be on hand as well as yummy treats!

Yesteryear Village's Spring Music Jam is an event celebrating tradition and world class country, bluegrass and southern rock music LIVE. From Generation to Generation is a heart-warming musical that tells the story of Rose Lieberman, a very charming and lovable Jewish wom-an who wants to leave a lasting legacy for her unborn granddaughter. With encouragement from her rabbi, she decides that she will leave an “ethical will” for her granddaughter. Rose creatively records many tapes and videos describing her life, with the help of her friends and family. 

The Bolt Band will start the day at Franklin Academy in Boynton Beach!  Come to the Spring Festival and Safety Day for this fun community event.  Thinking about attending this K-8 charter in Boynton?  What better way to get to know the PTA and families at the school.  Come and enjoy all of the fun!

This free family event hosted by Oakland Park Firefighters' Benevolent Association and Oakland Park Kiwanis begins at approximately 9:45 AM Saturday, March 26. The Easter Bunny will arrive by fire engine to kick off the Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 AM.
