Safari Binoculars - Make your own set of binoculars to take on your jungle adventure.

City of Fort Lauderdale Memorial Day
The City of Fort Lauderdale would like to invite the public to their free ceremony honoring fallen soldiers on Memorial Day. There will be live music from the American Legion Symphonic Band, a tolling ofthe boats, pipe and drum corps, a dove release, parade of colors and a wreath placement at the Memorial Park Cemetary on SW 4th Avenue. The Keynote Speaker will be Veteran Sergeant First Class Jose A. NEgron Jr.

Annual Palm Beach Jerk Festival
14th Annual Palm Beach Jerk Festival will be taking place on Memorial Day 2017 at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. Enjoy a culinary competition of spicy proportions as chefs prove their JERK skills. Live musical performances , a kids' zone, and a jerk cookoff will keep the entire family entertained.
$35 at the gate, $25 in advance. Kids 12 and Under are Free

Join in on the fun every 2nd and 4th Wednesday for Family Nights with Food Truck Invasion. Event time is 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Enjoy live music under the pavilion!

Kool events, LLC Productions Presents: Fun Glow 5k. Prepare for an unforgettable experience at the glow party, with EDM style music being spun South Florida style, Fun Glow 5k is a 3.1 mile, night time, fun run with an after party and glow festival! You can walk, run or dance your way through our course. You will encounter multiple glow stations along the course that will be blasting great dance music as you get your glow on. It's less about the run and more about the fun!

Woofstock at the Barnacle
The Barnacle goes to the dogs with pet tricks, a pet/owner look-alike contest, K-9 officer demonstration, animal blessing, adoptions and more. Live music from noon to 3 p.m. All dogs must be well behaved and on a hand-held leash that does not exceed six feet in length. Woofstock Participation Requirements.

Earth Day at Legion Park
Earth Day @ Legion Park – Saturday, April 23rd
What to know before you go:
• The Upper Eastside Farmers Market will feature even more great vendors at the event and will continue until 3:00 PM.
• VolunteerCleanUp.org will be hosting shoreline clean ups every half hour beginning at 1:00 PM. (1:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM). Please wear closed toed shoes and sign the waiver.
• All homeowner associations will have a table. If you would like to volunteer at your neighborhood’s table, let them know.
