Day Long entertainment includes free children’s rides, Royal Court Pageant Contests for Little Miss Sweetheart Pageant (3-5), Young Jr Miss (6-8), Junior Miss (9-12) and Miss (13-16), Kids Konnection and Business Expo, Children’s Stage Performances, Stroller Parade, Ten Foot Cake Cutting Ceremony, Three Mainstage Performances, Jazz Concert, 

and Food Truck Invasion. No pets please.

To celebrate the annual end of the harvest season, the entire Glades Region – Belle Glade, Pahokee and South Bay – come together with friends and family at the Black Gold Jubilee for fabulous food, good ole’ country music, parade and firework show.

(sorry, had to go there)  The Irish aren't the only ones with Celtic ancestry.  Heritage Park in Plantation will be hosting this awesome display of all things Scottish on March 5th from 9am to 6pm.  Bagpipes bands, Clan tents, a Highland Dance Competition, Scottish foods and so much more will be there to excite and entertain you.  Get your ADVANCE tickets at www.sassf.org before the event to save money on the games.

The best dressed animals in Delray strut their stuff at 10am in a parade up NE 1st Avenue and west on Atlantic Avenue to the front lawn of the Cornell Museum for judging and prizes.

Fort Lauderdale will come alive on March 11th with a huge Irish Fest to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and Irish heritage.  The majority of the festivities will take place at Bubier Park and down Las Olas Blvd.  Start the day with a race, live music and a drum line competition at the Huizenga Plaza at Bubier Park.  This spacious New River waterfront park is home to anything and everything that's fun and exciting going on in Fort Lauderdale. It is a wonderful venue for the Irish Fest!

Hollywood's St. Patrick's Day Parade will shine with green Irish pride this year.  The Parade will consist of dozens of decorative floats.  In addition to the parade, there will be live music, games, crafts and more!  The stage will be set at the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Harrison Street for everyone to enjoy live performances after the parade. Don't miss Emish headlining this year's entertainment!  Anniversary Park will be the location for games and crafts for the kids.

Lake Worth will be hosting their Annual St. Patrick's Day Charity Parade to benefit a non-profit group that provides custom wheelchairs to needy children in our South Florida community, Wheels for Kids.  This family-friendly celebration of Irish heritage will include the parade itself followed by live music, great food and a kids carnival!  The parade will take place down Lake Avenue and the activities will continue at the corner of S. K Street and Lake Avenue.

Bring out the whole family for this wonderful fun event to celebrate your family pooch.  Woofstock in Sunrise will be a fun outdoor event for dog's and those who love them!  Bring your furry BFF or adopt one: rescue groups will be on site!  If you're little one has been begging for their own new best friend, then this may be the perfect time to meet him/her.
