Join us for the opening celebration of The Other Side of Now: Foresight in Contemporary Caribbean Art. Enjoy a conversation with co-curators María Elena Ortiz and Dr. Marsha Pearce, facilitated by contributing catalogue writer Jason Jeffers, exploring the ideas, motivations, and origins of the project while seeking to address the question "what might a Caribbean future look like?" Following the conversation, meet with featured exhibition artists in the gallery for informal discussions on this timely and relevant theme.

"A Fool's Love Stories" (Performance Music Theater / Humorous) A half hour, one-man theater concert written, produced and starring Frankie Midnight. Co-produced by Symone Titania of Context of a Generation LLC. Frankie Midnight's "A Fool's Love Stories" is the theater adaptation to the artist's debut Indie Pop album, "Love Stories", recorded February 14th, 2018, which humorously follows a young "sucker for love" as he reminisces on heartbreaks and love-lost from past relationships while awaiting the bus to visit his newly found love.

Listen as a Manatee Master storyteller reads from colorful books to tell stories about the amazing aquatic species that live in the Lake Worth Lagoon. Usually, a coloring or craft activity reinforcing the story theme is included. Children ages 2 to 5 are welcome. Manatee Lagoon requires that parents stay on site. Seating, as available, is provided as is free Wi-Fi. Registration is necessary only for participating children, not parents, and will open 2 weeks in advance of each Manatee Tales Story Time program.

Explore scientific wonders at Manatee Lagoon. Learn more about migrating animals or how to identify manatees and much more. Themes will vary seasonally and children, ages 10-13, are welcome. Manatee Lagoon requires parents to stay on site during the class. Seating, as available, is provided, as is free Wi-Fi. Registration is necessary only for participating children, not parents, and will open 50 days in advance of each Lagoon Explorers program.

Join us on a walking tour of our visitor center and learn about manatee anatomy, physiology and the importance of GPS tracking devices, as well as the Lake Worth Lagoon. Meet at the manatee skeleton display at the entrance of the building.
