Turtlefest
The 14th Annual Turtlefest will be held at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach. This is a family friendly event where visitors will enjoy close up encounters with these magnificent creatures. The event will have something for everyone in the family to enjoy such as fine art, shopping, children’s games and activities, educational presentations, a Global Village, food, and music by conservation-minded local musicians.

Boomers Annual Egg Hunt
Boomers in Boca Raton will be hosting it's Annual Egg Hunt for FREE. Starting at 9:00, come out for music, games, crafts and prizes. If you'd like to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny, come an hour earlier and buy tickets online for about $13 (2016 prices). Tickets must be purchased in advance for the breakfast! Come for this Easter Sunday event and stay to play. Purchase in advance online. Pre register for the egg hunts from 8:30-10am.

City of Delray Beach Annual Egg Hunt
Join the City of Delray Beach in an ENORMOUS Egg Hunt at Miller Park on 4th Ave in Delray Beach. 2017 is their 25th Anniversary of this egg hunt. Volunteers will stuff the eggs and then stock the fields FULL of about TEN THOUSAND EGGS for this event! Come early to make sure you will have a parking space (Miller Park has a small lot). Only children aged 1 to 8 are allowed to participate in this event. Eggs will be filled with candy and prizes.

Friday Night Tunes Concert Series
The City of Fort Lauderdale hosts a special concert series called Friday Night Tunes one Friday every month from February to May at Joseph C. Carter Park (southwest field). The concerts feature live performance from bands representing a wide range of musical genres from Jazz to R&B to the Top 40. Bring your blankets, chairs and snacks to enjoy a concert under the stars. The concert runs from 7 pm to 10 pm and usually is on the 3rd Friday of each month.

Anything That Floats Race
Key Largo Merchants Association hosts this WACKY Anything that Floats Race every year at Blackwater Sound, mile marker 104, bayside in Key Largo, Florida Keys. This family-friendly event encourages participants to create some sort of craft made from materials found around the house. You can't use actual parts of boats, motors, foam or pool toys. Watch what people's imaginations can come up with. Teams are encouraged to dress up as they navigate their "boats" on the race course.

Bay Jam
Come out to the beautiful Islamorada Founders Park for one of the best outdoor music festivals in the Florida Keys. Bay Jam was started years ago as an event to promote the Arts in local schools. Artists perform and proceeds go to benefit local students in the form of scholarships and tickets to arts perfromances ($180,000 in proceeds from events were given for art, music and dance scholarships). Guests also bring in canned foods to get in which benefits local food banks.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta
Celebrate Mexican culture and heritage this year on May 2nd in Delray Beach at the "Cinco De Mayo" festival at the Old School Square Pavilion. The event is hosted by the Hispano-Latino Cultural Alliance. This Saturday Fiesta (the 5th of May is on a Tuesday this year) will include folk dances, Flamenco, Square dancers, Latino bands, Mariachi performances and games.

Artists' Alley Open Studios
Take an evening stroll down Artists' Alley and visit all the open studios and galleries in the area. Artists' Alley is located in Delray Beach's newest hot spot neighborhood of Pineapple Grove Arts District. Artists have taken up residence in garages located east of 3rd street and west of the train tracks. The strip runs north and south. It is all an easy leisurely walk with lots to see. Some of the galleries will offer free light refreshments or wine.

Big Pine Key Rotary Club Fourth of July
The Big Pine & Lower Keys Rotary Club would like you to celebrate America's independence with them this 4th of July at their 9th Annual celebration at Big Pine Community Park. The park can be found at mile marker 30 on the bayside at the end of Sands Road. Gates will open at 5pm to a family-friendly affair filled with food, drinks, games and activities. Enjoy a live music performance followed by a show stopping fireworks display at nightfall.

Delray Beach Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Delray Beach this year with the annual St. Patrick's Festival and Parade. Friday, from 5-10 pm, enjoy the Siamsa Celtic Celebration (Irish variety show) at the Center for the Arts Pavilion near Old School Square. There will be Irish cultural performances, traditional Irish grub with beer, and the St. Baldrick's Head Shaving Fund-Raiser.
