Annual Tribute Music & Food Truck Festival
The Wellington Tribute Music & Food Truck Festival is back for 2019 with the best tribute bands that perform in South Florida for 2 full weekends of family-friendly tunes. Come hungry as there will be oodles of food trucks on hand to satiate your appetites. Bring your boogie shoes or a blanket/chairs to relax on during the event.
Approximately 10 to 15 food trucks will attend each day (with the exception of February 16th). Food Trucks, on site 5–9:30 pm

Mayors' Chess Challenges are friendly competitions that bring together elected officials, community leaders, students, families and chess players of all ages and abilities to support and celebrate scholastic and community-based chess programs. Screen On The Green
Family friendly movies from the classics to present day hits are shown on an outdoor screen at the wonderful Waterfront Commons in West Palm Beach. Bring your own seating and enjoy refreshments on sale at the event. This event re-occurs every 2nd Friday of the month year round. Movies in the past have been: Grease, The Croods, The Titanic, The Lorax, Despicable Me, and other family favorites.

Loxahatchee By Night
Loxahatchee by Night Campfires are back at the River Center! Join in this season for some s'more fun with The River Center's exciting campfire activities. They will be kicking off their first event on Friday, October 21st from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm with a "Haunted Pirate Ship" themed campfire. This family friendly event will include ghostly activities, a haunted hayride, and of course s'mores! Costumes are welcome and encouraged for this event.

Meet the Orchestra
The Symphonia Boca Raton hosts a marvelous event for your music lover at the St. Andrews School just a few times a year. The Symphonia is a world class chamber orchestra who, in addition ot performing, makes a great effort to reach out to children in the community to inspire a love a music within them. The Meet the Orchestra event is FREE for children (adults cost $5) and allows them to get up close and personal with the musicians and their instruments.

Backstage Tour at the Au Rene
Budding superstar in the family? Take a free behind the scenes tour of the Broward Center for Performing Arts' Au-Rene Theater in Fort Lauderdale. On the 1st Sunday of the month, during the Jazz Sundays event (when show schedule allows), stop by and let the family see how the magic happens. No reservations are needed and the tour leaves the main lobby at 11:30am. Be sure to arrive by 11:15 AM to sign up and join the tour. Call ahead to make sure there isn't a show conflicting with the tour.

Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo
Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo in Davie will feature over 250 displays and will take place down Orange Drive from Davie Rd. west to SW 66th Terrace. This portion of Orange Drive will be closed off during the festival. Free activities for both days include arts & crafts show, musical entertainment, youth performers, animal farm, western displays, green product displays , and wildlife shows.
