Discover a local treasure! Come to the third annual LagoonFest to celebrate Lake Worth Lagoon and explore the wonders of this urban estuary, Palm Beach County’s largest. This free, family-friendly festival, held next to the West Palm Beach GreenMarket on the Waterfront, features live music, wildlife presentations, hands-on exhibits, children's activities, lagoon tours, water sports and more.

The city of Fort Lauderdale would like to treat your family to a whole lot of Fall fun at their annual Fall Fest at Mills Pond Park.   This event will take place on October 20nd from 3-6 p.m.  Learn about and even join a local Girl Scout troup at this event.  The fun includes hay rides, arts and crafts, face painting and pumpkin decorating.  Old fashioned Fall fun is on tap at this FREE family-friendly event.

Someone has been causing mischief at the Zoo! Put your problem solving skills to the test as you help solve the mystery. This overnight Zoo Clues program includes a nocturnal zoo tour, up-close encounter with our animal ambassadors, themed activities and crafts, pizza and a continental breakfast. Must be age 6 or older to attend. A minimum of one adult is required per family. Pre-registration is required. With her many colorful collages, Erika King has been documenting histories and telling stories through photographs and paint since the early 70s. Known for her commemorative, corporate, celebrity, family and sports collages, Ms. King has been commissioned to create collages to celebrate many of Miami's milestones, including the Miami Centennial, University of Miami's 75th, Miami City Ballet, Florida Grand Opera, the Miami Heat NBA championships and, most recently the Miami Beach Centennial and FIU's 50th.
