Coconut Cove Waterpark
Coconut Cove Waterpark is a Palm Beach County operated waterpark located in western Boca Raton. It is part of the large Burt Aaronson Regional Park which is home to ballfields, playgrounds, pavillions and the Daggerwing Nature Center. This waterpark is open seasonally and closed soon after school begins in the fall.
Boomers Boca Raton
Boomers of Boca Raton features miniature golf, go karts, bumper boats, laser tag, rock wall, batting cages, arcades and mini bowling. Boomers also hosts private parties. Attraction Value Packs or Combo Packs are available thru their website or onsite. Bomers serves food as well. It is located just south of the Cinemark Palace 20 movie theater on Airport Road off the Glades exit of I-95.
Monkey Joe's Boca Raton
Monkey Joes is a nationwide indoor inflatables gym. Monkey Joes has walkin play as well as hosts private birthday parties. Adults are allowed free entry with a child's paid entry. Socks must be worn inside the inflatables. Only kids 12 years-old and younger are permitted to play on the equipment. There is a Mini Monkey Zone which is a separate play area for toddlers 3 years-old and younger. Anyone over 12 years-old is not allowed to bounce or play at Monkey Joe's.
Boca Raton Children's Museum
The Boca Raton Children's Museum is housed in one of the oldest buildings in the city of Boca Raton. Its admission is kept affordable through the donations and fundraising done by the organization. Interactive play activities include: Ricketts Corner Store gives children the opportunity to shop the old fashion way in this replica of Boca Raton’s first grocery. It is one of the favorite activities for children of all ages.
Pompey Park Pool
Pompey Park Pool in Delray Beach with modern aquatic amenities located just next to the Pompey Park Recreation Center and across from S.D. Spady Montessori Magnet School. It is fully accessible and meets ADA regulations. The "Swim Lift II" is a top of the line water powered lift providing a smooth ride upon entering or exiting the pool.
City of Palm Beach Gardens Aquatic Complex
This two time award-winning Aquatics Complex is located in Palm Beach Gardens adjacent to the Burns Road Recreation Center. The center was recently renovated and has amenities for all ages. If you are looking for some low-impact exercise you can use the 25 yard lap pool for teams, individual lap swimmers and water aerobics.
Okeeheelee Nature Center
Okeeheelee Nature Center features 2.5 miles of trails winding through 90 acres of pine flatwoods and wetlands. Highlights of the center include hands-on exhibits, animal encounters and a nature related gift shop. Marvel at birds of prey, touch a live snake or prowl for owls during one of the many programs scheduled throughout the year for families, youth and adults. Exhibits: ECOSYSTEMS of PALM BEACH COUNTY Leaves seem to crunch underfoot as you walk by Clyde Butcher's life-size image of a hardwood hammock.
Playmobil Fun Park
$1 for a day of imaginative play? You got it right. The kids can enjoy creative play in a variety of themes and play with all of the Playmobil toys out of box. There are only a few Playmobil Fun Parks nationwide. This one, located in western Palm Beach Gardens is the only one in Florida. At different times during the day staff members come out and entertain the kids with songs and games. If your child absolutely falls in love with a playset, there is a store on site to buy it.
Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens
Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens are located right on the border of Delray Beach and Boca Raton. It is on Jog Road just south of Linton on the west side of the road. This cultural and historical attractions has so much to offer from an adorable gift shop to wonderful cultural/art exhibits to marvelous gardens and an award-winning cafe, you can easily spend an enjoyable day here with the enitre family. The small museum inside the gardens, Yamato-Can has an excellent interactive, child-friendly "Japan Through The Eyes of a Child" exhibit.
Gold Coast Railroad Museum
The Gold Coast Railroad Museum in southern Miami has several wood trainset layouts for visiting children to play with hands on! The layouts feature "Thomas" and other equipment, both free-wheeled and motorized. There is room for several children to play at once, and even seating areas for supervising adults. So bring the children for a fun and educational experience you can share with your family. The museum has freight cars, passenger cars, and locomotives to view on site.
