For cost, proximity to major roads and highways and for the marvelous amenities, we chose Sugar Sand as the top, "must play" spot in Palm Beach County! Amenities include a colorful carousel ($1/ride ); a HUGE wooden playground filled with nooks, crannies and adventure; a splash area; sports fields; indoor gymnasium (basketball); a theater for performances; rotating exhibits; nature trails; the Science Explorium interactive museum, art displays and extensive child programming.   It's a great place for camps, classes and birthday parties. When family is in from out of town this is where to go. Be careful, the word is out so try to go at non-popular times to have the place virtually to yourself!
