Get ready for the City of Fort Lauderdale's Family Fun Ride and Moonlight Movie in the Park. This event includes a casual neighborhood bike ride from Dottie Mancini Park followed by the Bee Movie  on the outdoor big screen, and tons of activities for the entire family.  MOVIE THEMED ATTIRE WELCOME!

 Activities for this Fun Ride include:

Join the Belle Glade Chamber of Commerce for a family-friendly good time to celebrate America's Independence!  They will have several food vendors, including Real Cajun Cooking, Bunkey's BBQ, Pig In or Pig Out, Alligator, Inc. Mexican food, hamburgers and hot dogs as well as snow cones, cotton candy and glow-in-the dark stuff for the kids. The children can enjoy free face painting as well as a trackless train, bounce houses AND a water slide on this hot July day!

The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) proudly announces the 7th Annual Haunted Pirate Fest & Mermaid Splash on Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28 in downtown Boynton Beach. The Haunted Pirate Fest drew thousands of people of all ages to Downtown Boynton Beach last year to enjoy a variety of swashbuckling adventures. This Free fest is located along E. Ocean Avenue between Seacrest Blvd. and Federal Highway on Saturday 11am - 9 pm Sunday and 11 am - 6 pm.

In an effort to bring attention to local parks and to encourage families to play outdoors together, the Play Outdoors…Unplugged series has been planned by the City of Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department. The average American kid practically lives plugged in. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of opportunities for families to engage in both structured and unstructured play.  And the second Saturday of June is the time for play in Boynton Beach.

Mark your calendar and tell all your friends and family about the Wilandia Festival at the Cauley Square Historical Village in Miami.  Come hungry and enjoy a variety of food trucks while you oogle at VW, Motorcycles,  Custom Cars & Trucks at the auto show.  Food Trucks will include Pillo's Pizza, Peru Sabroso, Garcia's Paella and many more!

The  International Hurricane Research Center and Miami-Dade County Emergency Management Department have joined forces with the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science to offer a day of hurricane preparation activities for families on Saturday, May 30, with free admission all day to the Miami Science Museum.

Free family activities including bounce houses, rides, a climbing wall, arts and crafts, youth entertainment, swimming and games around the park all day along with Food Trucks with a variety of food available for sale.  Support local Boy and Girl Scouts by purchasing Snow Cones, Popcorn, and Cotton Candy.

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Join the Museum of Discovery & Science for Music and Dancing, Food and Flowers, Arts and Crafts, Surfing Lessons and more! Bring the family out to Bedner's farmer run attraction for a weekend of fun!  Hay rides, $4 per person (under 2 free), are offered as well as delicious BBQ by Porky & Beth.  Other food choices include Cheri's Top NY Dogs, Bob's Lemonade & Pretzels, roasted corn, and Homemade ice cream.  Kids can enjoy (from 10-3) pony rides and a petting zoo!  Craft vendors will be there to sell their local and unique items and the U-pick usually has various produce to pick.
